I just left Amarillo last week….. but guess what I’m heading back in Sunday so Wednesday I will be at spicy Mikes cause it was the one and only place highly recommended to me while I was there. Can’t wait
Not impressed. Too many businesses with pizza, in the Copper City, as are car washes. Rome(NY), needs a formal wear restaurant. Tired of going to restaurants around Oneida County, and the patrons are dressed as if homeless. As for pizza, Aldi grocery has the best taste and price.
Seriously,, You say Rome needs a formal wear restaurant and less car washes and you eat Aldi pizza because it has the best taste and price? Sounds like you couldn't afford to go to one anyway. You sound like the guy who rides around Rome on his bike complaining about everything in the city just to post his negativity on youtube
I will say it is very good and just because celebrities dine there does not make it Buffalo's favorite Italian restaurant. There are plenty of Italian restaurants in western NY and Buffalo that are just as good. I am not slamming Chef's because like I said it is very good but certainly not Buffalo's favorite.
You need to come down to the South and get you some good ole soul food. Try Busy Bee Cafe in Atlanta, GA, Paschal's or Twisted Soul Cook House and Pours. Try Willie Mae's Scotch House in New Orleans for the BEST fried chicken in America.
My hometown restaurant was just featured on America's Best Restaurants tonite! Check it out!! Warms my ❤️... This was a great hometown proud episode.. I had chills when Robbie(owner) was talking about history(some that I didn't know ), taking care of staff, keeping the family business alive with son Zane in the kitchen, the support of the community, and no customer leaving dissatisfied or hungry. I will say it took Jeff Mease and I a few meals to finish the club sandwich on my 1st visit and trip back home after decades. Heather Inguagiato (owner, whom I graduated with) ensured I had a table for my birthday breakfast, where I indulged and cleaned my plate of creamed beef on amazing fresh toast . The waitress even took a birthday photo for us! The atmosphere is very nostalgic, with alot of history, memories and conversation pieces. What I like about small towns (where I was born an raised) is even at a slow pace the friendliness and hospitality Spankys Courthouse Cafe so freely gives is what makes it thrive.. I look forward to many more gatherings .. Great job and hometown proud!!
I might add, Big Jay is continuing to take care of his employees and fully intends to until his restaurant is rebuilt and reopened.. Not many other places would do that, Kudos to Big Jays 👍👍
