I thank you for this video. I am a disabled veteran in the US. Because of you, I find eSight is now available through the Veteran Affairs. I do not have them yet, but am emotionally and desperately invested in the hope to see almost anything again.
We went and watched the Bobs Burgers movie on Monday & it didnt occur to me to bring my eSight glasses to watch the movie. The theaters narration device was broken so I was straining my eyes the whole trying to watch the movie. Next time we go to the theater def going to bring my eSight glasses
Hi Ben! Sorry I missed your live stream, but will always watch them later if I am unable! It seemed that it would be tricky to walk with them as the depth perception is off, so I think for my son it would be best to use them to look at things outside when not walking (if that makes sense?). Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!
Hi Ben! It is so nice to learn more about you! Thank you for all of the help you have given us so far through RU-vid and email messages in reference to my son's first esight experience! He has been using the demo pair for over a week now and his new pair is arriving tomorrow! Like you, the glasses gave him the ability to see 20/20! He has been using them sparingly, but I am hoping in time he will get more comfortable wearing them for longer periods of time and learning all of the functions. My son is 30 years old and also has Optic Nerve Atrophy. In 2016, he woke up in the morning and could hardly see. The doctors have not been able to find what caused this to happen. He also has Asperger's Syndrome and is usually pretty quick to figure out electronic things, but I think he is a bit overwhelmed with the glasses and afraid of breaking them. Thank you for being so generous of your time to help out so many people!
Maria, Please let me know if you need anything !!! My email address is bbm1989@gmail.com my cell phone number is (419) 630-3547 please feel free to reach out anytime
@@theesightguy We had an instructional Zoom meeting and all went well! My son was able to see 20/20! I was surprised by his reaction as he did not seem too excited, but I think it was overwhelming for him! He has only been using it for about 20 minutes as day as he indicated it starts to make him feel dizzy after awhile (I am sure his eyes need to get used to seeing this way again). He has only been using it to watch TV, and I am hoping this week he can try walking outside with it. The representative sent us a users guide and I cannot believe how many things you can do with these glasses! My son is very tech savvy and can usually figure things out in a matter of minutes, but I think right now he is a bit overwhelmed. We have another Zoom meeting this Tuesday and he is supposed get assigned a personal coach. Thank you again for your support. I am going to let him know about your channel. He is 30 years old, but on the Autism spectrum (Asperger's Syndrome).
@@theesightguy Thank you so much! I was dealing with a representative last week and I sent her the medical info she requested and I have not heard from her since (I am going to call her today). Is this the norm as I am all set to to order the trial for the glasses? Also, you had indicated that the battery only lasts 3 hours....do they take long to charge?
@@mariag4677 I would keep calling. I’m not sure why no one has returned your call yet. As far as charging I have noticed it takes about an hour or so to completely recharge two batteries
@@theesightguy Thank you for your reply! I finally did hear back and now we are awaiting the arrival of the glasses for a trial! Thank you also for sharing your knowledge...it has made things easier to understand!
Hello! My name is Olga, I am from Russia. My husband has partial optic nerve atrophy in both eyes. Please tell me if glasses help you, and what disease do you have?
Did you fundraise through the Help Give Sight to the Visually Impaired fundraising page? If so how long did it take you to raise the funds for your eSight glasses? I started fundraising about a month ago and have raised about 900 for my eSight glasses.

You gotta try Stouffers macaroni and beef. Tastes awesome. I’m supposed to start using my esight tomorrow hopefully. Had wondered about everyday tasks. Thanks
@@theesightguy Thank you. I've discovered that there is a place about 2 hours drive from me where I can try these out (once the current COVID restricts are eased a little).
