Wow this is powerful praise God. I was diagnosed with severe OCD and anxiety disorder after getting into the new age at 14 years old. To the point where I had to be hospitalized, etc… I’m doing much better now, but I still have days where I’m still anxious. But God is good, he’s really shaping me and growing me out of this anxious superstitious mindset into a mindset of faith and trust in Him. Your story is powerful keep telling it 🩷
“Do not mark your skin or harm yourself…” that includes tattoos. A tattoo is basically cutting your skin open. That’s why it scars and sometimes bleeds…..
context is key. Leviticus is in the Old Testament and mostly contains a swath of rules for the Israelites. These guidelines were levied to set them apart from the neighboring tribes and nations that performed ritualistic scarring or marking for the dead, among other practices. It was an intentional spiritual transaction they were doing towards other deities. So, was the Bible railing against all forms of body art as we know them today? It’s not likely-the intent was probably more to distance God's people from other religious practices. Modern tattoo practices are far removed from the contexts in Leviticus.

@@NeoSelah I’d rather speak to God about it and ask him what’s right from wrong. But based off of how I was raised and how I was taught. Tattoos are sin, harming yourself is sin. And it’s not okay in the eyes of God. Marking your skin is not okay. Our bodies are his temple and we should treat it with respect like he would want.

Why do you think there's no deeper meaning? Words are spelled out. Words are spells. Spells have power. That woman has a point. You're doing her an injustice with your lack of knowledge
I never said she didn't speak any form of truth. I'm pointing out that her truths and knowledge points are severely distorted to the point where it feeds fear, paranoia, and OCD. I don't care if you think I'm "unenlightened" just because I'm not in 100% agreement with her, because I WAS her at one point. I also made it a point to not send this woman hate.
Also, not all words are spells because not all words are spelled out. Some words can be made into spells, but words themselves exist independently to make out a person's reality. Some words in different languages exist without spelling or standardized writing systems AT ALL. Therefore, I have to disagree with you.
I actually think this is legitimate. I live in Gary Indiana we actually had a demon house that they toredown with a real case of demonic possession in the house. Yes im glad you ceased that dangerous activity you easily could have died if you didn't have the holy Spirit within you.
God is the grace that flows with life and nothing is difficult unless you suffer your own mind... your resistance to life makes it difficult by that expectation that life should be other than what it is.
You have come to the end of yourself im happy for you sister. People keep conflating salvation and discipleship when its clear they are separate. Doing good works of any kind is basically what pleases the Lord which we SHOULD strive to do but the MUST the requirement to be saved is based on belief to be born again many Christians will be condemned because they simply refuse to trust in Jesus Christ our Lord to save them unfortunately.
You are right we need both. But only faith in Jesus Christ saves. Just like the thief on the cross. He repented and died, and was counted righteous in the kingdom of God by his faith. Works are obviously needed in edifying the body, but they cannot save you, we also believe that faith without works it’s dead. That’s what we as followers of Jesus Christ are supposed to do. Our works are the fruit of faith. Read scripture everyday, and pray to God in Jesus name, and all this will be revealed.
@@Jonathanhdz16as long as the approach in the process isn't legalistic, then it won't fall into self righteous works. We work with the holy spirit to edify one another, but no work saves us a spot in heaven or gives us favor with God. It is a gift. And also a revelation 🤍
