In 2021, low interest rates made home prices really high. Plain and simple. Now, are there markets that are still overpriced, yes but that doesn't mean everywhere is that way.
The new home comes with a lot of problems.especially because they are really close to each other. Parking is a big issue plus birds mess up the roofs . If you can buy and order home is much better. I live in a new house and I see a lot off problems. They look nice but trust me not worth it. Oh and the HOA sucks they take the money and don’t do nothing
I just purchased in Victorville having lived in Orange County and the inland empire I can attest to the air feeling much cleaner up here. I might add even though temperatures rise higher it does not feel as hot as when I lived in Corona. The breeze is nice up here as well.

Meanwhile can get the same house in my state for half the cost which I'd still consider stupid high. SoCal would be an awesome place to live but the prices are so crazy.
