I wasn't even mad at the choice of a Mustang. I was pissed off when KITT started morphing into other cars and trucks. Just seemed so stupid and a waste.
Well you have good points and I agree that it started off yes with to many people but later on in the series they injured or killed off some of those main villains lol.Then started to focus on the relationship of Mike and kitt.Not only that Kitt started to be more like the original kitt with jokes and things like that.After taking out some of the main characters I was cool with the remaining characters.It sucks that the ratings was bad and the stupid fans who are stuck in the past killed it
The new one lacked real direction. The exact reason why this series failed to even set a standard of 20 episodes in the first season. This series made KITT look like a talking robotic weapon for the KR&D. The show should have concentrated on the relationship between KITT & mike. There were too many main characters as well. I love the car, and it's abilities. But transforming into trucks and other vehicles were a bit too much. I hope they revive the show with da same car and different direction.
I know right people was just to stuck in the past I'm sure that show would have been great.I didn't mind changing into a truck or van but I would agree with you on the transformation part.To me i looked to much like transformers I wish they stuck with how Kitt Transformed in the pilot movie.I loved the attack mode but I loved the attack mode from the pilot movie.Plus I completely agree with you about the interior of the car but again I loved that show and miss it very much.
Mustangs are much better, than TransAms, the K2000 had 136 horsepower, and the Mustang Shelby has 500 horsepower, so the Mustang beats TransAm for good!
@The2Coolest2 No problem it's cool I was taught give respect to earn it.I saw the same thing that you saw and heard and that made me smile because Kitt started to break out like the previous one did.The show started to go back to one man and one car.I saw it like a passing of the torch from father to son but some people didn't see it that way.That's the part that I loved about that show same show but it's His son that has taken over.I know what you mean people can't express their opinion.
@The2Coolest2 Well that's is your own opinion and I respect.I love the original Kitt just as much as you but as I got older my taste for cars changed.The only good thing that was great with the old show was the car because David Hassalhoff's acting really lol I'm sorry to say that but it did.Yea your right about the personality I think if giving the time the Kitt 3000 would have grew one.Again I respect your opinion just wanted you to know that.
CONTINUATION......(sorry! ran out of characters!)..... The bond between them made the show. ( i believe anyway) K3000 & Mike never had that chance! Maybe...hopefully...someone will pick up the show again. (crosses fingers)
@TheLadyprowler I agree sooo much! I really miss that show! It was great! I believe it would have gotten better as time went on, and because of the Old School complainers, we'll never get the chance to see the relationship between K.I.T.T. and Mike become more. They had just started to bond & i had looked forward to seeing this K.I.T.T.'s personality develop. K2000 had time, became more humane w/Micheal & Micheal acknowaged his developing 'soul'.The bond between them made the show.
I'm a big fan of the original series. Loved hasselhoff and the old Kitt, but even I think it's a shame the new show got cancelled so soon. I had started to watch the new series and I kind of liked it. It will never be like the old Knight Rider, but was it really that bad? I thought it was decent enough. Maybe a bit too much like transformers.. and too much use of high tech stuff, but aside from that I could live with it.
@JediMasterLego Yea I agree with you that would be a cool and strong.Man I just sit back and think if I had Kitt 3000 the one for the movie not the show even though I liked the one from the show but the movie looked meaner and more to the original Kitt.I don't know what I'll do if I had Kitt from the movie and I'll call him beast.
@Optimus313 what also would have been sweet, is if for the Knight 3000, they would have used the Knight 2000's molecular-bonded shell, AND then used the [self-repairing] nanotechnology ONTOP of the molecular-bonded shell (so that way, even if the darn 'computer' was off, the car would have STILL been invincible :-D ). Charles Graiman should have designed and built K.I.T.T. (referring to the Knight 3000, in this case) that way :-P
@JediMasterLego Thank you man I tell you I really miss that show I think givin the time to grow that this show would have been a great show.They stopped it before it went back to the old days knight Rider.Before it was cut off Kitt was starting to talk normal and not like a robot and it was just kitt and mike knight.Again Thank you
