Really would like to see the burning capabilities of this laser. Also, I really like the price. $550 for the laser, goggles, batteries/charger and a case with this much power is a good value considering I have seen it for $625 and $700 in other places. I have now received this 15w (15,000mw) laser. I don’t have an LPM to test the actual power. But this does not disappoint. I even shine this laser at a white stone and the stone became hot to the touch. Things this laser touches literally ignites it. It ignited a sweet. And a block of wood pretty much instantly. I own the £80 3W thor blue laser and that is very strong too and that did not disappoint l me. (Again not LPM tested). I am no professional with lasers. Just a normal person who likes the idea of powerful and strong lasers, so I can only tell you from my personal experience. Before I got the 3W laser I originally wanted the 7w+ laser. But for like $450 or whatever it’s a lot and I was not sure if it was worth power - I can’t comment on a 7w laser. So I decided to settle with a 3w laser since my old best was a 1W laser. And the 3W is very strong and is a massive upgrade compared to a 1W laser. The reason I got this 15W laser is because that is x5 stronger than my 3W laser and that 3w is strong. So I got this cos I wanted it and because I couldn’t imagine on how strong it is. I talk too much and not good at explaining but all in all - I would say it’s worth getting the 15w laser and paying the $100 difference if you are debating on the 7W laser since you are paying that much $$ anyway. If you only ever had the 1W lasers. You will not be disappointed with a 3W laser. I got 2 lasers from this company, and this will probably always be my go to for a reliable laser. Again I have not tested with LPM but from using these lasers I believe this company does not lie, or at least with my experience it is positive. The delivery is VERY fast too. First laser took 8 days. This laser took 6 days to receive. I live in the UK too. I've got two of these 15w and a 3w green. I also have a LPM, and yes, these lasers do hit between 13-15w in second (high mode), 15w peak. The 3w green's a monster, it seems more visible than the blue at night, but in day the 15w takes over. As of now I'm trying to build a 150w 455nm laser bazooka like Styro's ;)
@@HSO-ro3bdI’m currently having a minor issue with the 15w laser turning on. Button is fine. But power wise it seems to struggle. I press the button and it feels like it struggles to turn on, as in you press the button and the light around the button flickers. I’m spamming the button to turn it on, maybe 3/4 times. Maybe 10 times. But I feel like it could be a battery issue so I have ordered some new batteries. Delivery is a long wait though. I do hope it is the batteries as it sounds a big hassle sending it back!
@@samsowhat5073 Sorry for the late reply, seems like RU-vid enjoys censoring my comments. I have the same issue with my first 15w, now I tried charging the batteries and swapping them for fresh ones, but it still gave me the same issue. I assume it's the wiring from the button since It takes two 18350 batteries, it adds up to 7.4v with high MA, it melts the silicon wires which causes it to not make full contact.

Ordered this a few days ago, officially being shipped now so I’m very exited. I might potentially do a video of it if people are interested. I own the Thor H series 450NM blue 3W (3000 mw) and that really is a beast, burns things easy and lights tobacco surprisingly good. I was not disappointed with this laser at all. Now a laser x5 more power…. I think anyone within a mile will need the glasses 😂
would you mind explaining to me if this company website lists the TRUE POWER of all the lasers they sell or are some of them UNDERRATED to avoid certain shipping laws or whatever? if so, is there a good rule of thumb to know what i'm buying? also, I currently have a green laser pointer that says "Laser 303" on the barrel... i'm pretty sure I bought it from these guys but it was YEARS AGO and I can't find my website login info so I have no clue what power this is... I want something stronger without spending too much money... ANY ADVICE PLEASE???
@@flojotube alright. I don’t have a laser power meter to test the actual power. As previous comment I got the £80 3000mw laser. I can tell you that laser has a sticker on it saying 3000mw. And seems legit as it’s much more powerful then a 1W (1000mw) laser. I just searched your laser. Ahh yeah the older days. I actually still have that laser. I did not get your laser from this store. 1mw laser is ok but not really that good at burning! :)
@@flojotubeI’m not expert in laser stuff, I just like laser pointers hahaha. However I have actually received this 15W laser, it creates fire in a matter of seconds. I have literally just had a play with it so I’ll know more on it soon! I can tell you, you 100% need the glasses. And I wouldn’t dare try to burn myself. I can be dumb and silly but this laser, no the power this has is crazy. Press button once: it lights up (assume it’s a lower power)( I am not sure how low the power is for the wattage.) Press button again: it goes to the max power, you can tell it’s brighter. Press the button one more time: it does the strobe light like on this video. Press it one last time: turns it off. In total you press it 4 times to completely turn it off from initially pressing the button to start this 15w laser
@@flojotube I bought the Thor M2 and the Sanwu beam expander from Laserpointerstore 4 years ago. From what I know, they manufacture these products themselves, and you can find many RU-vid videos reviewing the Thor M2 that confirm the laser's power is genuine. When I first bought a laser from this company, I had concerns, but the laser arrived safely (Central Europe) and, as far as I know, the declared power of 3W is accurate. The only downside was that shipping took about a month and a half. In my experience, Laserpointerstore is a quality company that values honesty and doesn't need to lie, but I'm speaking for myself and the Thor M2 laser and Sanwu beam expander.

@@flojotube this website is totally legit and safe, all their articles contain accurate info about their products, there are real power ratings and no underrated things. and for green Lasers 303, I tested it and gives me about 57mW, if you want a thing stronger I recommend getting Model 890 520nm options, I couldn't find those versions anywhere else at an acceptable price and in a safe site, 100mW one is currently at $39, is a good price in relation to his power. Lasers with more power has more price and also depending on the wavelength, price can be duplicated due to their complex diode manufacturing, there you will have to choose what you want.
I live in the Netherlands where lasers as powerful as these are illegal. Is it even possible to order them without being taken by customs if I buy via the website?
Qick question; I've been in the hobby for a long time, but I'm unsure of this... Should you focus the laser on the lpm or leave it unfocused to test the MW capacity?
