After an arduous battle, Ripley narrowly escapes death as she manages to open the airlock which jettisons the Queen Xenomorph who is flung into timeless space. The mangled, yet still operational Bishop, grabs onto Newt, while Ripley closes the airlock. After the airlock is closed. Ripley and Newt embrace in relief. Bishop compliments Ripley on her triumph. Bishop: Not bad... for a human. After this incident, Bishop is temporarily shut down, and the injured Hicks is put on hypersleep stasis. As Ripley sets up the computer. Newt asks if she and Ripley are gonna sleep all the way home. Ripley replies with yes. Finally, Newt asks if she can dream. Ripley, reassured that things will be all right, answers with "yes. You definitely can dream'' Of course, an incident would occur as Ripley, Newt, Hicks and Bishop are in stasis which would lead to an unexpected detour in Fiorina 161, an all male prison colony known by the inmates as Fury... But this is another chapter which is best told by another company, and in the eyes of two unknown USCM Marine operatives...
After being picked up by Bishop, Ripley, Newt, and the injured Hicks escape LV-426 just in the nick of time before the reactor in the facility explodes. Upon arriving onboard the Sulaco, Bishop explains his tardiness was due to the structures being very unstable. Ripley thanks Bishop, but the moment of rejoice is cut short figuratively and literally for Bishop who is ripped apart by the Queen Alien who stowed away on the Dropship. Newt is about to face grave danger, but then Ripley comes to the rescue onboard the power loader, and the final battle takes place... Ripley: Get away from her, you BITCH!
After Ripley manages to destroy the breeding ground of the Queen Xenomorph, she and Newt reach the surface where they await pickup from Bishop who is piloting a dropship. But to reach that goal, Ripley must fight her way through waves of Xenomorphs.
Location: Abandoned space settlement (Hadley's Hope) on LV-426 Acheron. Scenario: Special United States Colonial Marines Task Force has just landed. The nightmare is about to begin...again... Objective: Hunt down and destroy all the ALIENS... ...if you can keep yourself alive long enough...

I remember when this game out in 1990. It has been only 15 years since the fall of Saigon. I guess the makers of this game wanted players that had some knowledge of the conflict in Vietnam. Some the pictures were emulated from the movie Full Metal Jacket.
