nice the software looks also good and easy to use..can i bend 6mm somehow or softer materials and then 6-7mm ?

Hi! Thank you so much for your comment! The software is super user friendly and intuitive! You can bend up to 5.5mm on this machine. For anything larger, we would have to test it out. My dream machine is the best wire bender on the market. It’s not too big, not too heavy, and well-engineered compared to others. The smaller, older 2D version is also interesting. For now, I’m bending simple shapes with my DIY rig, as I can’t afford the price. Maybe one day, I’ll get the smaller machine💫

@@pensalabs I noticed another commenter asking about 3D bending. Kudos to you guys for making one. As a passion project, I have been trying to develop a 3D printer. Well, the iterative development process has lead me to making a CNC that can cut/draw on a paper. My next step is figuring out algorithms for 3D printing, filament feeding and heating. So I mean it when I say, great job on making it work in the 3rd dimension!

Please just do it the analog way, with scissors, pliers, wire snips and glue. You can find patterns for the bird on Google, I guarantee it. Any box will do for a base. You don't need to be fancy about it.

Great machine, I didn't understand why the machine performs 90° degree angle whereas the command was 66 °. From My understanding, if you are looking to compensate for the spring back then the command must be a number greater than 90°. thanks

The command is for the position of the pin relative to the 0 degrees (in line with the wire). So the pin at 66 degrees position to bend wire to 90 degrees of wire angle.
