Thanks for this Excellent Video! Never heard these tunes. Would've been interesting to see where Yes would have gone with Moraz. He was responsible for the beginning stages of Awaken, Eastern tune. Obviously, didn't get a songwriting credit!
Hats off to Trevor Horn for putting himself out there in filing in for Jon Anderson, not easy and yet he did it. Drama is a darn good Yes album IMO! Cheers
Yo I 14 years the old, fanático nombrer onr the YES asta el 😎 de hoy tengo 68 años uno dejo de escucharlos, hoy día Steven y Jon Anderson siguen activos, ❤ que Dios los bendiga siempre 😎 Mario de Venezuela para el Zulia y el mundo 🌎🌍 maduro presidente Nicolás
I was there on the floor about two people back from Keith Emerson. What a great show! During Fanfare Keith left the stage and rose up on the stages hydraulic lit torturing his Hammond L-100. I was glad the concert was just the 3 boys, without the orchestra! Classic Emerson, Lake & Palmer! RIP Keith and Greg!
I would love to see a concert where all 4 sides of Tales were played, and with the entire Relayer album was played as well. Drop Roundabout, ISAGP and all other "hits" for crying out loud to make room for this. At the very least do the 2 middle sides that they have never played since this tour. I can't see the current lineup doing this, and no lineup with Ricky=boy will do it. I think the best chance would be a group of Jon and the band geeks or maybe Jon with Todmobile.
This Reminds me of the 1st Relayer Show I saw at The Spectrum in Philadelphia. The Album wasn’t Released yet . We Taped it off the Radio. There were Several Standing Ovations that night . Relayer is a Fantastic Yes Album .
My dad filled my childhood with Mountain Stage and WVPR. Now in my forties, I realize how precious it was. I remember I got to see these guys live a couple times, and didn't realize then what an incredible privilege it is to see such great musicians making music from the Mountain State.
Only back then would they have pulled off a song like sound Chaser opening their set my goodness and this is your evening news brought to you by the letter Y
Patrick is their best keyboard they ever had and this album has as much of an influence on me as any other albums maybe besides going for the one and fragile
Wow - this takes me back in time. Relayer tour was my first ever concert at Newcastle City Hall. Followed a couple of weeks later by The Lamb tour at the same venue. Huge thank you to my brother for introducing me to such musical talent. Although I have developed a liking of many musical genres over the years, can't progress (pun intended) beyond Prog as being the absolute best 😁
Amazing finding this, just disappointed that it's not film, worked spots on the euro part of this tour. Last minute gig offered to me, couldn't say no as at the time it was my favourite band of the time. Working spots up on scaffolding got really hairy for the last 3 numbers (encore) loads of punters hanging off of the scaffolding, really kicking.
Jon s harmonies on you by my side are really beautiful. It d have been really cool to have more Chris vocal lead tunes with Jon doing harmonies, that would ve been a listen worth hearing.
Yeah. It’s a great rendition of a great song. I always liked Trevor on it and Tony does it justice too. A band on fine form, all of them. RIP Chris. Thundering ❤
Does anyone remember if they did thus show In Nashville Tennessee I remembered the drums looked like a spaceship and thier costumes included cloven hoofs At the end of the second encore Anderson said he hoped we were all homeless. I had been hanging backstage and they said Anderson was drunk before the show..Steve didn't want that second encore😅they were all so good on thier instruments ❤
