Welcome to "Shangyi Clay Sculpture"! I'm Huang Renjun, a handmade media content creator. My videos focus on the traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage of clay figurine making. Building on traditional techniques, I add a spring to the heads of the figurines, giving each one a bobblehead effect. This addition makes the entire work more creative and humorous. I hope my creations bring joy and inspiration to everyone. Thank you for your support and attention!

Which type of clay do you use, and what tools do you utilize for your sculptures? Could you create a video showcasing the tools you use? Also, could you provide links to where I can purchase both the clay and the tools?
Hello, the material I use is polymer clay. You can buy it on the online shopping platform. However, my tools are all polished by myself from plastic glue, horn, metal and other materials. They are not purchased directly.

--- Hi Shangyi, I'm from India and I've been deeply inspired by your videos. I've recently started working with polymer clay, but I'm struggling to create faces as beautifully as you do with your characters. Could you please suggest how I can improve? Also, how much time does it typically take to master this art?
Hello, you need more practice to master your touch, and you need more observation to improve your observation ability, but personal talent is very important. I have been working in this industry for 12 years now.

Hi Shangyi, I really enjoy your clay sculpting videos! Could you share what type of clay you typically use for your creations? Do you have any tutorials available for beginners? Also, I’m curious about your process - how long does it usually take you to sculpt one character?
@@comicscience550 Hello, thank you for your support. The materials I use are polymer clay from a Chinese brand. I currently don't have any tutorial courses available. It takes me 1-2 days to create a character, and filming the entire process takes 7 days.
You are very talented and I really appreciate your work. If you are a great artist why do you never say what clay you use. No one can steal your hand. It would be a gesture of a great person. You once gave a name for chimna clay that doesn't even exist. because? I don't understand.
@@ShangyiClaySculpture8 Hello. Thank you so much. I'm a cartoonist and I want to try some polymer clay but after trying Sculpey and Fimo Staedler I realized it's not as good as yours. They are too harsh. Yours is perfect...well your hand is perfect, but it is not hard but not very soft...What clay is it please...I know it is Chinese but what brand? Thank you!
