I have been fascinated by the weather for forever, and sadly, about 36 hours ago i became aware that one of my favorite meteorologists Ms. Jeanetta Jones had passed away 3 years ago as a result of contracting Covid-19 😢. i grew up watching her on TWC, she waz hired around the same time as i started watching this channel. I thought she was very good at her job, striking a balance between technically being sound and a smooth and relaxed delivery with a great smile and sociability to her and my guess is she was loved by many people. i have to admit too that she imo was a very beautiful woman with a pretty voice as well and it was really awesome to always find her on tv ❤. Was on air for 20 years, that's a long time to do anything and she blessed us with her charming delivery of the weather for a long time but her time was cut short due to a nearly fatal traffic accident on Thanksgiving Day 2006 that ruined her career due to lasting impacts from being hit on her way to work that day 😢, the oncoming vehicle ran a light and directly rammed her passengers side of her Mazda Tribute SUV causing it to roll several times and her head went through the windshield causing her lasting brain injuries that ended up ending her meteorological career sadly. They were able to extricate her from the wreckage with Jaws of Life but she would be forever be changed from this horrific event, and the public weather following viewers lost a true gem that cool November morning in 2006. i was very sad to read about why she seemingly just disappeared from The Weather Channel so long ago, but even more disappointed to hear that she had passed away 3 years ago August at a few days shy of what would have been her 61st birthday.. I loved to keep up with her and her lovable ways of presenting what is sometimes viewed as a boring subject or something that you just pop on for a few minutes every so often, i actually looked for her to be on so i could watch her do the forecasts. She was a professional through and through, and looked amazing doing it! My condolences to her husband, daughter, family and friends for their loss for sure. one of the old guard at THE WEATHER CHANNEL, RIP 🙏 MS. Jeanetta Jones Daniel. You will always be missed.

@@mindlessgonzo I wish they would start airing shows about weather instead of shows like Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Rescue 101 that have nothing to do with the weather.
It's been almost 7 years since a Weatherscan was discontinued. Its wonderful soundtrack will always have a place in my heart. We will never forget you, weatherscan.
Bro we just got one on my TV my grndma watchign tv and i in other room i run in there whiel its blaring loud and it was civil warning Test My dad said stuff abt nukes and Invasions in our country and Marshall law and shit ngl i think shits bout to go down soon ngl 😂too be honest i aint scared cause one we got our military out there and u got God and his angels

Its creepy seeing it in the tv , in greece there is an emergency alert number 112 for any natural disaster and it does the same sound but it sends an white long message in english and greek ,
