Why do so many youtube real estate videos never show the state and city, just the street. I have no idea where the heck this beautiful home is, but it's the sort of place I'd change states to consider. Though with this one I'd want to put in a great lap pool with a deep end in the backyard, maybe heated for year round use depending on where it's located. Beautiful. Best Practice: Show the state and city, not just the street, every time!!!!!!
Now that is one beautiful home. But where is it, what state, what town? Beyond that question, if I were to buy it I would do two things differently with the property. I'd redesign the pool, not that it isn't beautiful, but I'd redesign it with lap swimming and treading water exercises, in other words working out not just fun, in mind. I'd get rid of that water fountain feature or at least move it to the side from the end and I'd lengthen the pool, to maximize distance for lap swimming, 25 yards ideally but as close to that as possible, perhaps putting any steps into the water off the sides rather than off the ends as well. And I'd make sure there was a deep end at one end, or off an L at one end. And after redesigning the pool, I'd put in more landscaping, specifically tall and wide growing pine trees all along the sides of the backyard, strategically located from the house to the pool to add more sense of privacy from the neighbor eyes. I'd go beyond the pool as well, around the full end of the property, for privacy while playing or pitching tents further outback. That lawn is awesome. The trees now are actually not bad but I'd intentionally overdo it. But again, my preference, not necessary, it is incredibly beautiful as is.

My home was known as JFK living room even though it was Plain local plain local had many famous family living a casual life style.. Not far from the McKinley monument and the rose gardens with the eternal flame. Before I was born mom had loved the Presidents legacy. We had a gold mirror in the living room with gold Eagle candle holders on each side. The front yard was located directly across from the school. I could easily bike or walk. It was a friendly neighborhood where everyone knew everyone. The parents of the neighborhood got all of the children’s names. There was a friendly white church with grace yard. You experienced the seasons. We had white birch trees along the side of the house where cardinal liked to perch. Our family was a bit of a Brady bunch with three boys and three girls.

I am the owner of this house, having purchased it in 2004. The level of effort to renovate and rebuild this vintage house, circa 1911, is unprecedented for a Canton City house. It was always a labor of love, not to bring it back to its original glory, but to make it far better than it was originally. And that's exactly what I accomplished. Nothing was cosmetically covered up to save money and speed up the process. Anything worth saving was preserved, refinished and reinstalled. The roof with its original built in gutters, made by extending the bedroom ceiling joists, and long covered up due to leakage and rot, were reinforced with new framing and 3/4 inch plywood sheathing was added to create a very strong roof edge, capable of holding a hanging gutter. The entire 3 floors of the house was gutted, the old wood siding, flaking and weathering with lead paint, was completely removed to give access to the exterior bays for rewiring, new insulation and new construction aluminum clad wood windows. The entire exterior was sheathed with 3/4 inch plywood, painted, a layer of Tyvek added and then topped with Crane insulated vinyl siding. All the interior plaster was removed. Two by four battens were added to all ceilings to give a strong anchor for 1/2 inch drywall. The central wall, the kitchen walls and some interior walls are strengthened with 1/2 to 3/4 inch plywood. There are 4 inch can lights in every room. There is much new quartersawn white oak lumber. All the hardwood floors are new 3/4 inch site finished. All of the 2nd and 3rd floor millwork is new. The entire attic floor was leveled with sister joists and new T&G plywood sheathing added. Parts of the attic floor are 3/4 inch site finished red oak. The kitchen and bathroom have granite counter tops. There is a a marble back splash in the kitchen. There are 6 custom new leaded stained glass panels. There is a new oak staircase to the basement and to the attic. There is a new bump out, paneled stairwell window as well as a new bump out attic gable window. There are 5 tray ceilings of various sizes. There is one new elliptical white and red oak archway. The kitchen cabinets are all custom solid maple and maple plywood with maple dovetail drawers with Blum soft close glides. The rear porch deck is new and has Ipe decking. The delapidated front porch was replaced with an enclosed bump out, using 2x6 framing, a ThermaTru door, decorative concrete, limestone steps and the original porch bricks.
