I have both on the same hand! How unlucky am I, it's always caused me some discomfort but never looked into it, come to find out I've got a dorsal ganglion cyst and carple boss by my index and middle finger....
@@partdeux992 Yes, according to my doctor its harmless and can remain dormant for all my life and not affect anything. As she described, it's just extra bone. Sorry to hear that you got it after an infection :(
In Reality he is naked in the cast ... How can he cover his free crotch area? This must be extremely embarrassing for this poor boy, having the most private body parts naked and exposed all the time. Pants, even shorts are impossible with this spreader bar between the legs.
My sister had this when she broke her hip and femur bone due to a car crash, she’s only 9 but she had diapers for covering and doing her priv stuffs. I don’t know how it is for adults but yes in her case it was diapers
Excuse me but us there another way to remove the Carpal Boss aside from surgery??? I wonder if there are people who have experienced the Carpal Boss in the Ancient times.
Corticosteroid injection is the most effective non-surgical treatment. And as long as people have been punching each other in the face, there has been carpal bossing lol. There's some great longitudinal studies out there following boxers who leave it untreated
@@ejd1937 I noticed this lump on my left hand after I have been doing pushups every morning for a year or so just to be in shape. Now, after doing my pushups or any other heavy activity, I feel my nerves there are stressed out, and the next morning after heavy work my hand feels a bit numb there. If it gets worse, I'll have to visit a doctor and think if it's worth cutting that bone away.
@@KiM_16 Thanks for asking, it feels better now. I had changed my workout routine to make it easier for that hand. Still, the lump is there. At least it does not grow and does not hurt.
@@camelCased interesting. Immune started about a week ago. Started feeling a little better today but I just noticed the bump 😅 may I ask how long it took you to have it become painless?
PTB cast is applied after a long leg circular cast for a person with tibia/fibula mid-shaft/proximal fracture Why you may ask? To facilitate the flexion and extension of the knee.
