Hello, I'm planning a ride with my son and trying to extend the ride as long as we can on fuel. Do you know or did you track how many miles it is leaving the campground going south on the trail to get to Ruby Creek Store for fuel? I'm familiar with the area and know the road routes. Just never took the trail all the way over to the store.
that track looks like a blast, you gotta come ride the SVR harescramble its in NW ohio, not too bad of a drive for ya. it's usually first weekend in November. Very similar layout. Woods, fields, trails, river bottoms, etc
great race I think you were riding well, 14-15 mins in you really picked it up and started making some nice passes. I think it's just getting used to B class. In C class, a handful of guys get good starts, in B class, pretty much everyone does.
@@zombanator3000 no, just meant the scoring situation. I was in twelve on the last lap and ended 13th and I had never seen anybody from my class pass me on the last lap. I really don't care that much where I finish I just thought it was weird.
My 2 stroke buddies and I are heading up there in a few days. I am older with more experience. They are younger and faster. My experience has taught me that riding on rocks breaks bones. I'll still do it. 🤷♂️
You have to give them the old “CHOO CHOO” that the AA Riders give when they come up on ya, they need to realize your not necessarily racing the person coming up on you to get out of the way and let the faster rider by instead of holding them up. Good luck and I’ll be seeing you at the enduros and hare scrambles soon!
Another thing I do is pull in the clutch give them a little REV and they know your coming and to move kinda a intimidation move always worked for me (Mind Games) need to figure that out your better then your results every second counts! Get by them
Ride with. Crazy people playing one hand finding. C and one in B class. Started late but good mentor in the prior video but I was in my 30’s when starting riding.
I got short about a guy riding in the forest and he saw a face in the night so he went back and he was missing and a viewer got chased while searching for him so I searched”biking in forest gone wrong” and I found this video plus I would not dare to go in the woods at night
Wow !! I've been watching your videos and I see a huge improvement in your riding. I think you're worried to much about our "tight" trail, you rode it very fluidly. You made a couple of great passes, was reading the the trail ahead of you. I see where our 30 rolls (almost 6 miles ) of banner tape went. Great job
Thanks for the video work and great riding! I also thought the track was marked fine, I had never been there and didn’t have any real trouble. A couple times we would cross another trail that looked tempting but one look and you could see it wasn’t for us…too wide and looked too open/easy😂. Sucks racing under the weather! I’ve had pneumonia for the last 2 races! Use this 2 week break to get fully recovered and see you at the next one!
I'm not too picky with the rear. In the front, I always run an MX 33 or 34. The rear I've have several different and all work good. Currently running a IRC MB5 Evo in the rear.
