I grew up in San Bernardino and loved hearing the whistle everyday at 5:00 actually I could hear it all the way in juvi when I was younger all the way across town! I wish people could tell more San Bernardino stories and we had a show talking about the history good and bad.

My grandfather, Lalo Robles, was kind of a fixture on Olvera Street in the 50s/60s/70s. I remember going to a Las Posadas celebration and he was Santa. 😊I loved going to Olvera St. with him when he had his shop there too.
