I rescued a rat terrier at 1-year-old and he was a natural just like yours. He's five now and I was wondering when your dog started to slow down but from your comments I can see he's 11 years old and still kicking butt. Most people trip out because small dogs can't catch frisbees I bet you had some dog parks people still clap and applaud for him. Awesome doggo
Thank you. Rat terrier's are cool dogs. Jax is still kicking butt. Of course he doesn't have the hops he used to, but he hasn't lost a ton of speed. He still destroys 99.9% of dogs we play against. He does have atrophy in both eyes, early stage cataracts and lens subluxation. =( Last year I lost 80lbs just by hiking and he was with me every mile. We did some 15 milers and he kept up no problem. Our average hikes were around 8 miles. Not easy ones either. He's in really good shape body wise for his age. People are really surprised to see a Boston on some of the hikes we do. And yes, he used to attract a lot of attention, especially at the beach. His hops were insane, not just for his size, but in general. He can still do 360 backflip twists and catch a ball or frisbee midair. Anyway, I used to post on Instagram. If you want to check him out: btjaxfrisbee. Your Boston seems very similiar to mine in terms of temperment although my dog is 2 years old but I’ve watched your other videos when he was younger. Does he bark? I’ve never heard my dog bark and yours doesn’t seem to bark much either.
He rarely barks. But if i get him excited on purpose and egg him on I can get him to let out a few. But in general no, he's not a barker. btw if you want to see more of jax he's on instgram... check out BTJAXFRISBEE =)
Sweet. He weighs about 19lbs. Not too small, not too big. He's a leaner Boston like his dad was (but Jax is more muscular because of frisbee and hiking). Check out the moms and dads of the pups you look at. It's your only indication how big your pup 'might' be fully grown. Awesome dogs, just read up on them and make sure they fit into your lifestyle, i.e. if you're a runner and want a dog to take on long runs, don't get a Boston. If you live in a very hot climate and want a summer hiking buddy, probably not for you (although they have cooling vests that help with this). They don't tolerate the heat (or cold) very well at all. They are athletic but do have their limitations. They are fun as hell though! Any other questions let me know!

I'm still testing my Karma Grip with running. Nice to see how much more stable it is now than when it first came out (and it was decently stable then, too).
I have a boston terrier that is 10 weeks right now and he is 5.5 pounds. The breeder I adopted him from said his parents ended up being 12-18 pounds, so I would say 4-7 pounds is what they would weigh at 9 weeks.
