Well done Guy. I share your concerns. I try to be positive but there is so much negativity all around us. The voters are left with "the lesser of two evils". I guess it's all about taking the "baby steps". ✌
Ian David’s sister., Do we know who took this footage? Every time I watch this it makes me cry.? David passed two years after this was taken. I miss him so much. He could play anything!
Hi. Yes I took the footage. You probably can find a couple of other Dave Vega Videos in my collection if you dig. With JJ Malone and also with Bad Blood.. Perhaps there is more I don't remember. There were 5 separate clips from the entire show under the Redwoods at Fairfax Festival.
I read Chuck passed , must have loved Cass Elliot quite a bit n shared a few lonely bites doing the stuff lovers do! So I think you'd b right on knowing Chuck was Owen's dad! @@mojomaxy
I met Chuck in Fairfax Ca. he was a real good player and a nice guy he would always welcome people to sit in with him, I had a few occasions to sit in with him he is truly missed. I remember that old hollow body Gibson that he played upside down since it was a right handed guitar. God Bless.
Sorry to hear about Ricky but time passes ... as do we all. My only time hearing them and meeting them. It was a great little party, great guys in the band. .. and a great band!
It’s not about how many people can an economy sustain, but how the people live!. Animal Agriculture uses 1/3rd of the Earths (Ice Free) land mass, it is our meat based throwaway consumer lifestyles of a minority of people who live in wealthy countries. That is the cause of the unfolding Biospheres Collapse, Land Misuse is the issue, without Animal Ag we could rewild 78% of agricultural land, which would stop & reverse global warming! But that is not going to happen in the little time we have left, ONLY a rapid transition to Cle Burning Carbon Neg Algae Bio Fuel and Algae Based Economy, has any chance of drawing down enough CO2 in the next five years( if it’s not too late already) z
Thank you for posting this Guy,nice music memorial for Vince ,always treated people at tubes shows well.Class act.Wush Bill was more active, great musician.
I was thinking along your lines of thought years back ... but I am not an electrical engineer. In the meantime where I interviewed this fellow now sits an electrical charging station.... ...and we are happily riding our Electric Bikes and Electric Cars... (sadly) while Ag land in California is converted to fields of photovoltaics... Giant windmills stride across our landscape ... "Taking this change into account, it can be projected that approximately 681,000 birds are currently killed by wind turbines in the U.S. each year.Jan 26, 2021" Trying walking people ... it's good for you and the Planet! Walking Liberty!
I was at this show! Good times. I still have the show poster & photos - uploaded to my FB. facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=killerwolf13&set=a.10158604034678791
Pete left off the last two lines of Lee's Living Will. In Dead Earnest If I should die before I wake All my bone and sinew take Put them in the compost pile To decompose a little while Sun, rain and worms will have their way Reducing me to common clay All that I am will feed the trees And little fishes in the seas When corn and radishes you munch You may be having me for lunch Then excrete me with a grin Chortling, There goes Lee again 'Twill be my happiest destiny To die and live eternally Lee Hays, 1981
Bill Spooner is one of the funniest , kindest and intelligent guys to meet . So others have told me who really did meet Bill , so they say . One song you can feel his sympathy and compassion is "Too Much" , click on link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C3E5mw6iy_g.html

I bumped into Harold Jones at work a couple of days ago I reminded him of this video, which I love as well as Walt's Tunes as well as the rich foliage behind the stage at Creek Park Which has been gone for years 'non-native' Ah well....
