I still think Shibuya was the best arc. Second is the Sukuna v Gojo arc Then perfect preparation The final fight where they threw everything and the sink at Sukuna was insane. Culling games is missing a chunk, especially after they introduced the U.S military. In general, I still think as far as Manga go, JJK is around the level of AoT or maybe even more. There will never be a manga this crazy going forward 🤣
The culling game makes sense when looking at it from the perspective that each arc was a physical volume designed to build up the characters surrounding the final battle. Yuji got to process his grief in regard to his role in the deaths of thousands. Megami gets one more fight to show us he’s getting really good, because this is the last time we will see him fight. It also introduces us to Takaba, who is instrumental to Kenjaku’s arc. Hikari and Kashimo get a big glow up and we get to see why both of them are on the top of their game. Yuta. Nuff said. Maki gets to finish her growth, both emotionally and physically. We also get to see that degenerate loser get flattened one more time, I love seeing that frame guy get flattened. XD So while in the grand scheme of the narrative progress is really slow, and it basically sums up to everyone messing up Kenjaku scheme to force him into an end game situation. But it was really to give the main actors in this battle time to stretch, while introducing important characters for the final battle. It’s not the most ground breaking arc, but it’s super important to build up that connective tissue.
SPOILERS! Thought it was just a fun dungeon crawler-esque anime, then all of the sudden Marcille pulls out the necromancy card. That's the moment I realized what I had seen up until that point was only the tip of the Dungeon Meshi iceberg, and shit was gonna hit the fan real soon.
The last episode will be absolute cinema where they both broke the shackles of their feelings and let it open to each other...bruh I am reading the current raw manga and light novel and the LN is crazy going in japan
day with my stepsister is one of my best romance anime of the season, it even became my favorite and I'm starting to read the light novel to see how the relationship between Yuuta x Saki develops further.
Came from the link you posted in the reddit. I'm glad you liked the anime and yes, it's really so damn wonderful. I started reading LNs of it back in 2021 so seeing this get an anime and be so loved is really cool to see. It's only going to get better as well. The direction is top notch though, not a great fan of the animation. Also yeah Saki is a week younger than Yuuta.
Truly a fairy tale come to life. I will also admit that when Coco graduated around that time, I was still a casual fan so I wasn't that fully in the rabbit hole so I didn't get to see Coco's graduation when it was fresh though I saw a lot of people react to it on social media and was kind of confused about the concept of graduation at the time (yes, this was the moment when I realized that Hololive was pretty much a corpo VTubing business which I knows really silly in hindsight but I was still this was the first time I ever heard about TVubing graduation, so it is just surreal that years later I get to view the first proper Hololive JP Graduation (I know there is also Sana's Graduation as well but that is in the EN side though I also miss her as well) though it is also sad because the other departures before then were terminations but I can at least say that Aqua had a proper send off and road off into the sunset and has her content still viewable for everyone to see. Regardless, we will all miss Aqua Minato, now and forever. Thank you Aqua, our favorite maid cat onion.
"Killed the hype" is a bit overdramatic Most people aren't gonna watch the leaked videos because the quality is dogshit. 360p with blurred bars and time codes on the sides. Only a very few are gonna go out of their way to watch Dandadan in that quality. This situation sucks but in no way do I think this will kill the hype. So go ahead and make that video!
As of now, the ending is so disappointing that I have to look forward to the volume. There is news that additional pictures will be added in volume 42 in December.
Your enthusiasm makes me want to rewatch it. I was completely caught off guard by how good it is, I started at "eh this might be okay" and by the end it's one of my favorite anime. It's such a good fantasy story and the animation is beautiful, and it's legit funny as hell.
This is almost exactly how I would be trying to explain how cool Dungeon Meshi is and probably recording a video being tired AF. Maybe it's because I'm tired AF right now hahahaha.
Part of the experience of reading Dungeon Meshi, as it came out, was the shock at how well everything some how naturally got crazier. All without having to increase power levels or similar and while also maintaining the core themes. The shock was always, "This is crazy." Followed by, "This also makes complete sense."
I'm a manga reader and yes things are about to go so much more crazy I'm not going to spoil things, I'm just going to just give you a nudge: What do you think the *Winged Lion* eats?
You clearly don't understand details of the story (your confusion about Falin) and your biggest mistake is calling Chilchuck normal. He is half-foot. Tall-men name of "baseline" humans in this world, if they saw you they would call you Tall-men. It is not a spoiler but by number of manga chapters second season should easily reach end of the story.
The reason almost nobody eats monsters in the setting is it's a taboo, like how some cultures have "unclean" animals that they're not supposed to eat culturally IRL.
plus marcille says episode 1 that there were people who did try for the same cost cutting reasons but they all ended up with terrible food poisoning and spewing chunks from both ends or whatever, so without someone like senshi with his knowledge of whats safe to eat and how to safely prepare and cook them, its pretty difficult to go that route even if u want to
I’m gonna just take a gamble and say this is college station (don’t wanna say the exact location.) but if you’re where I think you are then we should definitely collab!! I also play alto saxophone
