This is great! How are you finding the module? I'm curious about getting this instead of the 2 separate Intellijel units. I currently have an hpo but kinda need the 2hp on the 3u row. This looks like a great option.
I havent gotten round to having a full test of it yet, so far ive powered it up and checked that i got lights and no magic smoke. Ill be sure to test it soon and i can let you know. it really was such an easy build though.
@@willow2x Awesome! Thanks so much. Would love that follow up! And yeah, looked very easy in terms of a build and given I haven't done any DIY, it looks like a good one to start with.
@@turbotambourine I got round to testing the Out1U today, gave it a quick run through my little guitar amp and everything works, tho i havent tested the "Cue" and as soon as i find my headphones with a 1/4 stereo jack ill test through them too, see if i blow my ears of or not. sound was clear no clicks or buzz, well worth getting this as an entry level module. easy enough to solder and youll get loads of use out of it =)
Thanks, I’m going to start learning a bit more about effects and modules to fill out and pad my sounds out next. I’ll try and replace these as i progress each track =D
I did. I built 2 others too, its taken me months to get it up to a working standard. Now I just need to work on filling them all up =) Im working (slowly) on a full build video. From sheets to beats XD
Oh yeah and my Resolve has been crashing loads since the latest version 15 update (15.3.1) , it doesn't like the paint feature in Fusion at all but was fine on 15.0.1... apparently 16b2 has a problem with Nvidia GPUs that you need to manually set in preferences, not updating til it's out of beta tho.
@@willow2x No probs dude, if you need a primer on using fusion for sick text effects I'm free all next week. Been recreating famous streamers' Stinger transitions and sub alerts.
@@danskifpv haha nice! I could do with learning that sort of stuff. Ive been thinking of trying some intro/logo stuff on blender, just to see what it can do =)
I really like that line too =) I did actually make it through the tyre eventually aswell, didnt have dvr running tho =( Will be back there again to get it again lol.
Quality looks epic dude, I thought the fisheye would be more prevalent but it's not even noticeable. Currently playing your SoundCloud tunes, didn't even know you had all them made, dope!
Its only recorded at 1080 @60 then rendered down for youtube aswell. I bet the fisheye will be more noticeable in forward motion. Ive got a bunch of trash up on that soundcloud. Theres a few ok things tho =)
its a little 4k beast (its only set to 1080 at 60fps [rendered for youtube so 720 at 30fps]) cost half as much as my old cam and is only the size of a pebble/small rock lol where about are you these days?
kai ya old rag! nice to see you swinging those muthas again :) i also need to break the rust off my loins, havent spun faya in years, and only a couple of minutes here and there with the leds. i really miss learning new moves and so forth, but it is hard to get around spinning again. i guess it is just to start and put my back into it :)
Hey fella =] yeah i need to break back into my flowing only seem to play around when im making a brew now. ive been getting into double staff a little bit too. where in the world are you these days?
Its nice to be back, it aint ever gonna be like the forum days again tho. Ohhh DMP how i miss thee *sadface* posting sketch ups of ideas and translating words into movements. i think my next vids gonna be a double staff one keep an eye out for it, just need a vaguely sunny day and to be awake =)
thanks for the feedback, tried to keep it interesting and fun (although the video was just thrown together last min with gif's n pics from google lol) what would you do differently?
yeah thats also a good idea =] i like to keep it all as comfortable as possible when spinning, so i prefer the softer colecord rather than gripping the barrel of the swivles =] just my preference, sorry for the slow reply. KTWS
dang i really should check my comments more often ^^ what im doing there is '1.5' pendulum. i think it differs from the one play poi were trying to find a name for =] thank you for the shout tho =]
Kyyyyyyyyyy...instead of using a stone sword to hack at them, which takes like, forever. Get your ass into the Nether to a Stronghold and get some Potions brewing. And a melon farm too. Cus for potions that work on Zombeh's is the Splash Instant Health Potion (Nether Wart + Glistering Melon + Gunpowder) will save you lots of time and lag.
@willow2x Yeah, the weight takes a bit of getting used to, and they hurt like hell if I hit myself, but I find rope more comfortable for throws and I really notice if the head/cord weight ratio isn't right.
@schmarzech sounds good, but i bet not as comfy ;P they dont half sound heavy tho i like a good bit of weight but a whole inner tube?!?! lol just preferance tho i guess =)
@willow2x The ones I use now are a little different, but similar in spirit; head-heavy and geared for throws. I use lightweight 1/4" climbing rope, knob handles, and a whole mountain bike tube for each head.
@schmarzech ^^ i know its a late reply, but thanks (even if i did base them of the two greatest sets of poi ;P) you still using them? or are you like me and sacrifice thins to make new stuff ^^
@aniki91344 well spotted but theres a differance in the antispin... the one i did is the typical diamond mode antispin (12,3,6,9 on the clock), the one they're trying to name is in square mode (0:07, 0:22, 0:37,0:52 on the clock) the main differance is that there is two beats of antispin in the one g and nick do i only did the one, again tho well spotted ^^ KTWS!!
Hey dude, 56 seconds into your video, the move you do with the pendulum swing in one hand, and the full circle in the other hand under the pendulum... They're trying to give that move a name in playpoi.com! Hurry on over and tell them you were doing this move since before August 10, 2009 and vote for a name for that move! lol. look up "Pendulum swooshy uppy thing" on youtube, lol.
