The parts of the game with wainwright, the whole carnivora section, and the katagawa v. Rhys dialogue were the only parts of the story that I really loved. Which sucks because gameplay wise, I love this game and I feel that the endgame is on par with bl2

Big splash damage spells are pretty good on big targets, I've found when i went through the game recently, trying to do it mostly magic based myself. I was also cavorting about with not just magic as well though, and mostly had on early game gear cos it had great amrita gain. Would recommend you to do the DLCs that of the insight I've gained. Some bosses i had to truly embrace the block lockdiwn, some i used melee, and i enjoyed talisman of amrita gain for Living Weapon. You without such options should be quite interesting. Especially if you tackle a particular optional fight of DLC3 after the final boss, that necessitated LW odachi for me, be cool to see your tactics.
Big thing to keep in mind is that E3 charges devs/pubs like 40k$ just to be there, that's probably the bigger reason why they don't go. No reason to do E3 a favor by showing up on top of throwing money at em.

You are correct about bullets knocking you slightly off the ground. Also the strat to throw the decoy right into the enemies so they melee instead of run away also works for axtons turrets another great video homie!
I was curious and decided to look up the voice actress for Wirt from Diablo. Turns out Lani Minella was the voice of Nancy Drew in the video games as well as the voice of Wirt and several characters in Diablo 2. Some dumb joke Jerma did for the stream turned out to be a perfect match. Truly the best streamer.
the biggest tragedy of this game is how ava was supposed to actually have character development and become less annoying, but somehow they decided that those two cutscenes were what needed to be cut instead of something like the shitty "meme videos" that tyreen forces upon you. also in one of the cut cutscenes was maya's funeral, which would have given her death some meaning instead of being less emotionally impactful to the characters than the loss of bloodwing, who didnt even get ONE cutscene relating to her death and still caused immense grief to mordecai in ways that even subtly bled into other characters dialogue. i hate how much better it could have been, if only they hadnt cut out the few actually decent bits of writing.

I was surprised people were so upset about the horses. Even in the base game, I used them all the time. I loved acting like one of the travelling NPCs, travelling along roads from stable to stable looking for shelter, then straying when I saw something interesting.
The funniest thing about this is Demiliches in tabletop are supposed to be even stronger than normal Liches when it comes to damage output because they gave up everything that could make them remotely human to focus it all on sheer magical might.
