Welcome everyone to my channel "Khalid in Quarantine Zone(KinQZ)"
I am Khalid who is really passionate about Technology and during quarantine, I got bored of waiting for the lockdown to get over so I started this channel to voice out my thoughts by making videos and connecting with like-minded people through youtube and that's how the channel got its name.
I try making tech videos relating to our everyday lives, so if that sounds interesting to you a sub to my channel would be great!
Great content bro. I have a unique problem. We have moved to a new house in Kundrathur Chennai and the area water has Iron. We installed Iron remover and Water Softener. Now the issue is it takes a long time for the soap to go. Is it because the water has become too soft.
Thank you so much for demonstrating and explaining each aspect of this product. It's really helpful in making a decision and you have mentioned pros and cons honestly which is praise worthy. Keep doing the good work :)
Great explanation! You've addressed most of the concerns effectively. Your effort and contribution to the community are truly appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Great video. But i find that it is not feasible for me given i am in a new city- hyderabad temporarily for a new job and will be shifting places often. What should I do in this case if i need to soften the bathroom water? I stay alone...can i use 2-3 buckets of water from RO for bathing? Can RO water remove the hardness?
RO goes a step further and reduces the TDS as well, though that doesn't have a meaningful impact on our bathing experience. You can either use RO-purified water or get a few 20L water cans from a local vendor. I may be wrong about this, but I think the water cans have less of a negative impact on the environment compared to RO water, if you are someone who considers such things. If you shower daily, with an average of 60L consumption, that's about 11k per year for the water cans, and 7-8k for the RO (assuming you replace the filters twice @10k ish litres). I'd also get a camping shower from Amazon if I were you.
Does this reduce the TDS? Can i use as whole house water softener to avoid buying for each bathroom .. N wht happens if this water is circulated through my RO water purifier for drinking .. Will that be an issue.. Why cant we use distilled water to make brine solution???
TDS is an umbrella term, that includes all solutes in the water (sodium, magnesium, zinc, copper, calcium, fluorine, chlorine etc). Out of these, magnesium and calcium are the primary contributors to water hardness. Water softeners replace them with sodium, so the hardness goes down, but TDS is pretty much the same. If you have an independent house/water storage, then yes, it would be best to buy a whole house filtration system. The amount of maintenance and headache goes down, and generally these systems are more robust.
Great topic & info. But very very long gets really boring people can start to loose patience. It could've been a 5 to max 10 min vid. Pls cut out the unnecessary details /words / explanations/ repetitions. Use scripts, bullets and summarize. Also learn recording & editing
Really impressed with unbiased presentation. Generally people having already purchased always praise the product. But he presented how price 11500 is higher when resin costs only 500. But again he highlighted at this price point no one is there. Hence we can't call it expensive. But I don't agree. Having spent 11500, he had serviced (regenerated) himself 5 times in 3 months, a bit more cumbersome. Apart from that the max flow not mentioned. Also 1000- 1500 lit consumption require a regeneration , I consider too frequent. Softner removes all salt, where as a conditioner restores the tds level (adds or removes) as required. A conditioner is much less price, has more flow, requires no maintenance, no chemical.
I read you comment and i think you can answer my question, so will this washroom water softner will redute the TDS as well for the washroom ? and i will soften the water right?
what about the water pressure ? what is coming out of the filter, because if we want to use it in main line of a bathroom, we need to get good amount of pressure for all of the outlets
