Man, everything checks out perfect for compressor, and my 2/1 overload protector/relay. , If I have everything plugged Except the compressor all lights and fans work. As soon as the compressor starts it shorts out my GFI plug... must be my inverterboard .... it's crazy because all I did was remove the back panel because the inned condenser coils frosted, I jist let it melt into a towel for 2 days.

here is the million $ question that i cant find anywhere on the internet. The air that is blowing out thru the air vent to cool the freezer down, what should that temperature be ?? The air flowing out of that vent is about 29F and the freezer is NOT freezing.
Thanks for watching. If the freezer is not getting cold enough then there is something preventing the transfer of heat. This could be dirty condenser coil, or a faulty condenser fan. This could also be because of a faulty evaporator fan or a buildup of ice on the evaporator coils itself, preventing the rest of the freezer from staying cold. The temperature coming out of the vent from the freezer should be below 0°C and is why food too close to that vent will sometimes freeze. @@ACommenterOnRU-vid Still best to check if the evaporator fan is running, and that there is no ice buildup that might block the vents that circulate air throughout the freezer. If the cold air from the evaporator coils does not circulate properly in the freezer then the freezer itself will not get as cold as it should. If the fan is not running then replace the fan. If there is a buildup of ice then the defrost circuit must be troubleshooted.
@@ACommenterOnRU-vid As well the evaporator coils is closer to -15 degrees F or about -25C. So the temperature coming out of that vent should be well below zero, even with a bit of air mixing and depending on how you're measuring. Still best to check the components mentioned in the above video.

I have a question about the condenser fan okay my fan from my refrigerator is turning off randomly every either 44 or 45 minutes the most but sometimes less than that so then I have to either unplug the refrigerator and plug it in again or turn it off and on from the electrical box so yeah that's my question if you can help me thank you
I came home yesterday to a garage with water all over the floor. There was water spraying out of the icemaker area. We shut off the water and checked over the ice and maker and it seemed okay. Everything got put back together but it hasn't produced very much ice overnight. Maybe a tray or two. After watching this video I'm planning to pull the entire icemaker assembly out. I'm not sure why the water did not automatically shut off. Any ideas? It is a Frigidaire FFHS2611LBNA thank you
Thanks for watching. It could be the ice maker control that kept the water valve open too much. If the problem continues then installing a new ice maker could help. Thanks for watching. A closed circuit is a closed path for electricity to flow through. The thermistor needs a continuity to work properly as it is a thermal resistor. An open circuit means something has failed, there's a break in the wire, or the connector isn't connected properly. It means there is an open gap, preventing the circuit from being completed. Huge flashes and sparks and loud noise whenever the fridge was plugged in and the compressor started up. I removed the plastic box/cover and found a few different wire’s insulation had either hardened or hardened and then flaked off, exposing its conductor to other components. When I touched the remaining insulation on the wires it just broke off or fell off in pieces. All I can figure is this was due to very high heat from a dying compressor, or from an inefficient compressor that had to stay running longer than it’s rated duty cycle, causing the heat buildup and the subsequent breakdown of the insulation, which then caused wires to touch, leading to the arcing.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Heat buildup can also happen with a faulty condenser fan or dusty condenser coils. Anything that restricts the airflow can do that as well so best to check those.

@@AmreSupply thanks for your information so it’s possible a blown fuse can cause the top range burners and the oven and broiler not to work, but I have the display clock working and the oven light works
