Hello Andrew!, I know this is an old video, but i got a ps4 that had a broken PSU, got it replaced, played a few games without any problems. Reassemble it, and now it just pulses blue light for 3 seconds fan spins and shuts off
Hello, how are you, I have a problem with my device's HD, it's not defective, but I put it in the PC to see if it had badablock, I didn't change anything, but when I went back to the PSX, it didn't recognize it, the menu no longer appears, if you have any video of yours that talks about it, I'd be very grateful.
Hi Andrew. Just watched your video on the xbox one 3 phase check. Really informative and I've checked mine, seem to be good. The issue I have is I turn on the xbox, powers up, beeps twice, fan turns about 8th of a turn then it just powers off. I've put a new power supply in it but have the same issue. Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. Tried all the forums etc but no good. Thanks
hi my xbox randomly shuts off one utube said that there's a chip below heat sink if it gets over heated it shuts the xbox off without warning i tested it hanging the powersupply out hanging it wasnt shutting off. whats that chip called if u know -_-
You old content was very inspiring, don't hide it mate! From the first channel announcement (out of a car 😄), to acquiring the JBC set, to soldering WSON sockets to teensies. I'm sure many followed your journey, just like I did. Regardless of production quality, it was real. Could have been any of us. Thank you!
Thanks for that! I unhid everything and it'll be staying up here for prosperity. I originally did it as a way to try and hide the older less popular stuff away from the algorithm but didn't make any difference to the views in the end ha ha!
Just fixed one of these for a friend. I found a small brown cap was short. But it would still not start. Checked battery voltage and was around 7.6V I charged it to 8V on a benchtop supply. But it still wouldn't start. tried smc and pram reset. (Left it overnight on it's new fake power brick to keep charging). Next day and it started but in the password screen it seemed to shut itself down once. Asked owner for password and ran a few tasks such as 1st aid in disk util. then a pram reset. Seems ok now. SSD is hot and processor heatsink is hot. Not sure how normal that is. One thing I find strange and annoying not owning a pc is that Paul Daniels board view only seems to work on a pc and not on mac....... One thing I find strange is that the power brick he bought for it recently states an output voltage of 14.85V but the psu for my Retina which has the same type of magsafe has a rated output of 16.5V Wondering if the recently purchased power brick is the culprit? Also. just checked SSD and processor again after the resets and first aid and they are not as hot, much cooler in comparison. Oh well. Lets see if it keeps running and i will double check the suspect power brick.
Hi, my switch is not in auto rcm. I have the device in this video, and it says VDD: 9.10 CUR: keep turning to .13/.14/.15 mAb: 17 Any idea on what I should do?
I’m pretty new to the mod scene so I apologise in advance if this is a stupid question. Is there a way to get the PSX to boot games from a SD card or Hard drive etc. I know it’s possible for PS2 using MX4SIO but I can’t find anything on compatibility with the PSX. It also doesn’t help the some people call the original PlayStation the PSX 😂😂
5 years later this helped me figure out what was wrong with my Xbox One S. Bought it for cheap, verified 12v on the PSU and I was stumped after that. They (now, at least) sell the MOSFETs separate so you don't need a donor console.
really appreciate you telling us what can go wrong and how to potentially get around it. so many tutorials are on pristine kits that 'just work' first time, so rarely do you get help troubleshooting the problems :) . my hd died about a month after buying the xbox1 years ago, so ive done this once before, but it was before MS officially made it possible. glad to see MS giving us legit and 'easy' tools to install the os :) . will be following along when i finally get of my ass to upgrade to an ssd, as kinda dislike the loading times on my hhd :) . ridiculous that you lose 400gb from a 2tb drive though.
Want to thankyou for this tutorial, i got my 5000 series up and running, my hardrive works fine on mine but wanted to limit wear on it, just been playing driver3 and to those who asked but your game iso in the dvd folder. Thanks again man.
Hi He has a problem with his ps2 device. He installed the MadBo chip and the image of the chip appears on the TV, but it does not play regular discs or printing, only original Japanese Regen discs. What is the reason, please?
Likely an issue with the CDVD controller points. Also, if it's a PAL machine make sure you have the H point installed. A lot of diagrams say not to connect this point but that's false - it absolutely needs to be installed.
Thank you for this guide. I am now thinking of making a FreeMcBoot for my PSX to preserve it. I just wanted to ask because I have seen other videos where they are playing PS1 and PS2 discs via the uLaunchELF, is there a different app that I need to install to do that as well?
Thank you for showing how to load applications and the boot menu . Now how can you download/load and play games on your ps2 from that usb stick/hdd is it possible ? If so how . I have lets say an ISO file of a game where do i put it in the stick to play it on the ps2
Your video is great. I have a question for you. How can I debug the language setting of the game menu so that it shows the game name in the language I want?
Yo man , I have a question , after doing all this , how can you finally play a game on the ps2 . Like you know I have iso files of some games on my computer . Where do I put it on the usb so that I can play them on my ps2 , and where's the game list to access those games I put . Thanks
My PS2 V7 is chipped with Modbo 760 and occasionally i get the red screen of death from DVD PS2 games but the game worked the next boot. Is that normal with any PS2 modchips?
