Imagine if Grand Prix in reality did this to racers... I don't think anyone would accept it. Unless some are really foolishly desperate for the money to damage their mental health.
GT7 is very much more rewarding on Credits than GT5 is damn, i used to go nuts with GT5 with my brother back in 2015-2016, and this race felt impossible, and for a race this long it only give you 794k, while there is the Touring car championship 800 in gt7 which you could get about the same credits in 27 minutes. I have to say GT5 was brutal on giving credits to the player.
When GT5's servers were still up you got a 200% login bonus for logging in 5 days in a row on any race you did with no limit on how many times you could do it, making the XP and Credit rewards much better compared to GT7. GT7 is easily the greediest of all the Gran Turismo games in terms of payouts when you take into account how much things cost in GT7. 100K for nitrous in GT7? Really? It's 5K in GT4. It cost 100K in GT6 as well but GT6 also had the same 200% bonus that GT7 lacks. GT7 needs to bring back the 200% bonus in my opinion. It's just unfortunate that Polyphony never turned on a permanent 200% bonus for offline play as a last patch when they shut the servers down because it's quite obvious that 5's payouts were never designed to be fair unless you had the 200% bonus from logging in for 5 consecutive days. With the 200% login bonus GT5 was a lot more rewarding than people who didn't get to experience it back when the servers were up think it is today.
honestly this is realistic if you take away the vaccum noise the turbo and engine itself as well as the cut gears, it’s not really supposed to sound as clear on the hood as you are supposed to hear that transmission as you go higher in RPMs and MPHs. the wind speed as well the problem this game had was the transmission whine and car sound was top heavy and the audio slider wasn’t even compared to now. now [hood view] sounds like the original floor/ground view sound with a lower volumed sound, while the ground view sounds the EXACT SAME as the interior view
WHAT THE HELL IS GRAN TURISMO LOGIC??? So you get just a little less than 100K cr. less for doing a little, 3/4 hour rally in the special events, while you ONLY get 800,000 cr for LITERALY sacrificing an entire day of your life (without friends playing this means 0 sleep, short food breaks when in the pits or one handed down the Mulsanne, and said food probably being cold and stale, near 0 communication with anyone, yes, you can phone a friend, but the event pretty much requires most of your attention. The real 24 hours of Le Mans winner in 2009 completed 382 laps, with driver swaps, while you have to complete only 9 less without any driver swaps). This is pretty much the definition of driving HELL. You should get 20,000,000 at the BARE minimum and a really rare car like one of the Formula One cars, or the 20,000,000 cr classics, not an Audi which is probably no better, if not worse than the car you used to win. No way I'm ever doing this race ever, not without friends anyway.
I was using my steering wheel for like 5 hours straight and it started to smell like something was burning and I thought it was the stove or something it traced back to the steering wheel so I knew I had to turn it off after that :(
With a controller It's pretty hard to feel the car. So yeah, I use ABS at 1 and traction control at 2, just because without it's impossible to drive normally
You can; you're given the option to suspend when you pit in; you'll be prompted to close the game when you do and you'll start where you left off the next time you boot it up in your pit area ready to go again.
V yes below V I agree and I think you should get more than 700,000 because I done a nascar race and I won 1,000,000 credits so I think that is REALLY unfair...the nascar race was in the same game...lol...now I play Gran Turismo 6
