Tipping in person for everything is ridiculous. Do make sure to tip your delivery drivers however. They’re paid less than minimum wage, and they don’t make those “delivery fees” that you see on your receipt.

@mcwaivi7349 look up what the average hourly wage is for waiters serving in other countries. Americans make far more money serving other lazy Americans than other countries.
if it's a service i.e. waiting on your table (paid very little and need tips to survive) or delivery certainly tip. if it's fast food, you don't tip unless the person really made your day.
I usually just buy homeless ppl a pint of vodka, save them the trouble. Or if they look like they about to die Imma give them a $20. Dont care if they addicts, addicts still need to eat. The shit that drives me CRAZY is when ive given food (i work catering so i always take leftovers to the rescue mission the next monday and hand it out), like literal food to homeless ppl and I come out and its just on the ground. Or I smoke cloves and they ask for a cig and I give em one and they say "eww" like dawggggg 😂 aight go on an suffer then since youre too good for this. Idk I got a love/hate relationship with the homeless. I think we should try to help the ones that still seem lucid because at a certain point theyre just too far gone and tht shit is sad to see (or watch happen)
Funny, but also made up problem. There’s always been scammers, but 90% of the guys on the street will still smile and thank you like crazy for a dollar, which can get you *nothing* these days.
The real issue is that homeless people have countless systems to help them and refuse help regardless. And the issue of addiction within homeless populations.
Depends on the area. I lived and worked in a particular downtown where it wasn't unusual for people to get an attitude asking for more. I gave one dude ten and he literally said "that's all? why can't you give me 20?" The cafe I worked at had to stop doing our pay it forward system we created for neighbors in need, because there were two guys who abused it (asking for multiple drinks and pastries several times a day) and got verbally aggressive when we tried to set a limit of one item per week. We had to ban one dude from the store because he repeatedly got confrontional and threatened an employee. Sure, there's good folks out there just down on their luck, but wherever there's kindness offered, some asshole will attempt to exploit it. It doesn't take away from the legitimate needs of the majority, but it sure makes it difficult to be generous when you don't know someone's motives.
@@Baelfyrethey are looked at as vermin and people with addictions just can’t quit, they side effects of quitting something like fentanyl or meth often kills you or has such big problems you have to get back on. Obviously they don’t have money for treatment either.
