Thanks for the great video! I was able to install on my 71 Chevy C/20 last night and it only took me 1 hr. He was right they do twist when not looking.. Hahah. Thanks so much for these videos.
wow excellent presentation sir, and the finished bence seat foam looks perfecto. Do you have experience with bench seats with the 60's and 70's springs/wires ?
great great video, i just bought a d150 1986, and the seat need some love, the local upholstery asked 1000 to rebuild the seat. i havent runs the truck yet 5 miles to spemd that kind of money. any chance to share the link where to get the seat cover, with your tutorial im about to start my first seat , thanks 😊
This is a fantastic video! I have my grandpas 1976 Ford F100. It has a large ass sized chunk of foam missing out of the driver side portion of the bench seat lol. Im going to try and restore it myself and this video will be of great help.
I miss my '64 step, had a Ford Granada 302, FMX trans, (reversed auto shift pattern), Autolite 350 2bbl, (I think), 3.50 (?) rear gear, 265/60/15 rear - 235/70/15 front, great rake for stock body. I would love to find another one.
bought this kit to convert my 74 to a 3 point - but the bolts in the kit are too small for the threaded factory point in the cab corner. am i missing something here?
I got that same on the truck in the 1st video of it mounted in the truck, and mine is a peace of shit. it's sharp in spots, and the wood is un finished and also really sharp. I did not order it raw. if I had known it would be like that, I would not have paid nearly 300 bucks for it. I'm really really disappointed in the workmanship
Lmc isnt always known for their quality but these feel great well build look great and everything feels crisp and well built. Their a bit expensive but with how old these are finding an original that isnt as brittle faded or corroded as your old one its worth it.
Regarding cautions on the door panels: Any suggestions for an alternative? I am doing a complete restoration of my 1984 GMC K2500 interior. I need color match and strong door panels, etc. I was going to buy all of it here, but with the comments on the door panels, not sure now. On a budget. Thanks.
I noticed something weird on the video at TS: 9:02 where I froze the feed to look at the corner of the door panel. It looks to me like it is upholstered and one can see where the grey shows, like when you fold it over. Is it just me or what is going on there.
Thanks for this Kevin. I was looking and looking for instructions, and the ones in the box weren't enough. I wasn't sure if I could mount the reactor and the lap portions to the same L bracket.
I heard your vehicle must be designed for this kind of carpets to work, otherwise your metal floor will rust out as humidity has nowhere to go. with normal carpets water just vaporises from it but with these water gets trapped. is this true?
I'm looking to pull my tach into the place of my fuel gauge and need an aftermarket fuel gauge for under dash mount and the wiring color cost to rewire it from the wiring harness to aftermarket gauge.
