Len Hutton scored the highest ever Test score at the time of 364 during this innings. A record that stood for 20 years. I have a Len Hutton Autograph (the name of the bat is Autograph, it's not signed) made by Slazenger that was made in 1950. Put side to side by today's bats it looks like a chopstick, I would say literally half the thickness of the Kookaburra Beast that I play with. when put side by side.
2:05 try putting more emphasis on doing it on the front foot rather than coming with both cuz if u miss it and it’s not bowled you’ll get stumped. Just some small advice!
Proper skill to be a good test batsmen, to stay focused every ball against top class batters as well as being under pressure….. that’s why I love watching tests over t20
Nice duck yesterday Dan😂. Don’t worry mate I got one as well after nicking off second ball. Luckily I didn’t walk and the umpire gave me not out. Still ended up on 0 off 7😂😅
@@proshayaantv421 No definitely looked like the ball made contact with the stumps, in which case the bails would have fallen off but the ball went through and hit the net, which then hit the stumps as well. Regardless, he’s out
@@musiceditz23 1. There are no bails? 2. Just because it "looked like" it hit the stumps doesn't mean it did (as I said, the net was the object moving the stumps) 3. The ball needs to hit the stumps for it to count as out, the net doesn't count
Doesn’t matter if there aren’t bails. In cricket, when the stumps are hit the bails are dislodged, prove me wrong. Also the stump moves as the ball reaches it so you are correct that the net moves the stump, but upon a second and third viewing i can conclude that the ball hits them first. So effectively, he’s out
@@musiceditz23 1. That is called a stumping 2. Assuming the length from the net and the stumps, it is clear that the ball is above the stumps at the time of alignment, so no the ball didn't hit the stumps, and no he wasn't out
That thumbnail is so well made good stuff I am going to watch the vid soon I already know it’s going to be a banger Edit: I watched the whole thing as expected it was a banger only Dan can make a 847 ball innings video seem interesting and ''Len Hutton" I think that's the spelling
@@fahimarizwan3370 Yh but what’s the point of doing the challenge and getting out 20 times anyone could do the challenge he done, just stay in the nets long enough
