I’m in love with these commercials. The new ones are so annoying. Rarely will I pick modern commercials over vintage and retro ones

This was an amazing video ! Especially the manual transmission and super high performance engine mentioned at the end ! Does anyone know how many of these were produced ? And were they practical for the street ??

The 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury is the most beautiful and sporty Plymouth for 1959. Another Exner beauty! Peter Gunn's favorite car, in metallic copper (it looked silver on black & white film on TV).

Back when cars had more than 2 or 3 models and they showed.you why theor cars were superior and why you needed them in your driveway...... Where they had their own trademark designs and took pride in their cars and did it with class

No joke, as soon as this commercial finished I would've turned the TV off and gone to the Ford dealer.

My first car was a 56 210 2 door sedan. 235 six, three on the tree. Paid 75 bucks, and I drove it home. Way back in 68! 😎

I just bought a 71 Newport Custom, int perfect body almost perfect 383 two barrel. Been sitting in a garage since 1989 when it's owner died, his wife passed recently and it became part of an estate sale. My lucky day!

Watched to see if anyone was mentioned in the design of my fastback roof. Apparently Ford did it with no mention of designer (yet).

I'm from Chicago. My grandfather was a car salesman. He would play these sales training films for my grandma, Mom and uncles. This was movie night in the rural Midwest in the 1950s! My uncle knew every make and model by the time he was 5 and could draw each one🍿🎞️🎟️🎥🚘

Why not follow Ford's example, and mass produce a modern version of the tri-five Chevy, cosmetically identical, but modernized in other respects. Don't make the same mistake as Ford did with their Thunderbird iteration, which styling wise bore little resemblance to the genuine artical.
@Art-is-craft

Cannot produce cars that are cosmetically different because if regulation. Those old Chevy weighed the same as a modern car and had V8 engines or six Cyclades. Not possible.

My mom's parents had a 1957 Nomad new yellow with white top. She is the oldest of 11 kids. they were lucky to have a 4 bedroom 2 bath lake house, as well as a 6 bed room 2 story house on 40 acres. Those were the day of a single income in central Wisconsin and you owned your own business delivering fuel oil, and running 2 gas stations.

Really fun video to watch. I laughed at how the beginning had a defensive feel, trying to pretend that they weren’t just making a copy of the mustang! It was a better car than the mustang.
