Definitely helpful. Gold star for you ))). I'm slowly losing my hair, thinning for no apparent reason. Dermatologist has the same problem so is no help. Acquaintance at convention wore lovely scarves, so I'm less annoyed with the likelihood of losing more or all. "Old Lady Comb Over" and bun is still working, mostly. I've been saving brushings for years to make a wig of my own hair.. Williamsburg technique... laborious. Your scarf tutorial is just what I need to take the angst out of it. )))
Thank you so much! I’m losing my hair due to some medication I need and I’m so self conscious! I love this tutorial. You’ve given me the confidence to wear my pretty scarfs. Hope all is well with you.
I'm watching this 8 years on, and I want to believe this beautiful young woman has defeated cancer and is living a happy life. I lost my 20 yo daughter (my only child) to brain cancer 20 years ago and it still aches my heart every single day. Too many lost to the hateful C.
Thanks, Esther! While I'm not undergoing chemo, I'm an older woman and my hair has thinned so much that you and I look just about the same up top! :) I've watched many tutorials on scarf tying... but they are usually done by those with a head full of hair. Your tips are exactly what I needed! Again, thanks for sharing and I'm putting good vibes into the universe for you. (I am a cancer survivor but was fortunate enough for it to have been caught very early... no chemo or rad. You guys are my heros! xo)
Thank you for this video, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and have lost my hair and seem to tie my scarves the same way. Thank you the the cool ideas and good luck in your treatment ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Esther you made my day. I am also loosing my hair due to chemo. I thought well it is what it is Let me see if I can find how to wrap scarfs on my Head and there you are. You just brighten my morning. Hope you are doing well.
I just had my 2nd chemo of 16 and am anticipating the fall out of my long hair. I'm nervous at what the shape of my bald head may be. I can't believe how excited I am at the prospect of dressing my head up with scarves. You really inspired me and put my mind at ease. Thank you for that. And...I think you have the perfect bald head and you really look beautiful. :)
I first wanted to say I’m praying for you and hope you got through chemo okay. Bless your heart!! But, on what your friend said, “Liberating?” Perhaps more like feminist rebellion? I think yes, that can be liberating, or freeing yourself from (not a comfort blanket, but from) a spirit of submission to nature and God. So, secular speaking, yes, definitely liberating, but religious speaking (specifically Christianity speaking), rebellious to God may feel freeing but in the end is damning to our souls. Read 1 Corinthians 11. ♥️ But I have you a thumbs up on this... cute scarf idea. I have lots of hair but I wear head scarves every day out of obedience to The Bible♥️
I was just diagnosed with lymphoma a month ago and my hair started falling out after my first chemo treatment. I already had some scarves, but had no idea how to tie or style them, so this video is very useful. I love your style.
Awesome job! You’re a natural! Honestly kept me smiling the entire time and got a great idea for my old T-shirts instead of turning them into rags! Thank you so much. I hope you’re feeling well , I will keep you in my prayers xoxo.
