Deluxe indeed!! The Polish composer Frederik Chopin wrote several waltzes, which he brilliantly named: Grande Valse Brillante. This is up to their level, wow!
@@boringpianoimprovisation 🙏 i really like the organist mike rattledge from the soft machine( and the soft machine for that matter)( chopan was no slouch!) . he played a lowrey holiday deluxe organ. i always thought that was the coolest darn name for an organ , but the english have a way for making things sound cool .
@@donleino I don't know organist Mike Rattledge. On your recommendation, I could check out his playing. Blues Deluxe is a great name for great playing. A bit like the name Don Leino signifies an immediate need for the RU-vid audience to click open a new video. I feel like a dog who doesn't plan his life beyond this.
Fascinating new fragments, my friend. A guy with two brains just about to invent a whole new style of music, in a shady basement where alchemy once was succesfully practiced.
having spent so much time in solitude , i do feel like a bit of a mad scientist . wait can i be a vampire , thats way more sexy ! lotta digging through footage tonight but was able to salvage some clips from some musings . always love reading your comments brotha! poetry AND not boring ! GO FIGURE!
@@donleino Synth and piano are not in the same tune and that's exactly what I like! A really unfortunate incident that your camera turned off. That has happened to me too. Aircraft engines should rather stop working than a camera.
@@donleino I hope you keep making these videos no matter which president you get. We live in strange times. Your improvisations balance all the despair and murder that prevails when I take the headphones off my ears. Thank you for your videos.
Such a beautiful soundscape to experience the sounds of these transitions in harmonics. I appreciate the delicate touch you put in your craft, it is felt in resonance. 💙
I'm trying to recover from a severe cold. This music brings me comfort, takes me to the bottom of the ocean where I settle, above me the whales sing. <3
@@PhrenicDemand pretty sure this is in 440hz, but i was using a setting on the roland fantom called "analog feel" i think thats what its called. Basically makes the sound behave like a out of tune analog synthesizer
Playing bass and guitar my wholelife before keys, the keys were difficult at first to walk a bassline , but now not so hard. Thanks for the kind words as usual and glad you enjoy :))
@@boringpianoimprovisation i was super stoked as i was playing this . Often i think when im playing good " wow ! I hope i dont mess up this is going great " lifelong student of improvising/ being in the flow state i guess. Thanks for the kind words as usual :) were all about transcending coasts 🧘
@@donleino I know that feeling very well.. while being aware of the rec. But listening to your playing it feels like you never really mess up anything! And that jazz intonation of yours. I'll learn it within a decade listening to these videos!
@@boringpianoimprovisation hahah watch some more of my videos youll find many mistakes! I play so well when the cameras off 😭😭 practice playing with just the left hand alone . Gotta run!
thanks darcy :) i love interviews with bill , i resonate alot with zen buddhism , i seem to recall him speaking in those terms at some point . and he was a wonderful musician , admittedly i dont know a ton about him . thanks for tuning in
