Thank you for this great video. Nice music you did. When i didnt have so nany (almost spitfire audio) strings libraries , i would go for that. For me , VSL are under the top 3. But cant afford at the moment
To my ears, the main difference is soon after the note is played everything is near perfect but the difference is after this initial attack the real instrument has these what I call irregular reverberations that poke the inner ears and nose quite sharply by seemingly jumping out of the instrument, they have a much higher frequency content than the beginning of the note and vary over time, but it seems that the library misses (chokes) these ambients by keeping the spectrum even after the note is played. In my opinion it is these that create that extra feeling of realism, otherwise for me this is the nearest library to the real thing there is and that is why I have nearly the full VSL library.

You can continue to use the product as long as you want, the license is not going to expire. The library runs on the Vienna Synchron Player, our main sample player, that we continue to develop and support. -Martin

That is really cool Vincent!🙂👋 So you are actually adding this after its recorded in Cubase. Do you just select the track or tracks and hit record and this puts in the new dynamics? However this is done, this will save hours of work editing the midi controllers so that they all match in a crescendo/decrescendo or whatever dynamics you want.
Musikalisch toll! Ich verwende aber nur noch die Synchron Duality Strings. Die besten, die ich je gespielt habe. Die alten Sachen mögen perfekt aufgenommen worden sein, klingen aber zu hart in meinen Ohren.
It's just the master keyboard that's very high, haha. My other keyboard, for piano and keyboard performances, that you can see in the videos where I review pianos, is at the right height. ... And believe me, this is something I say quite a lot to my students 🤭

lmao stop. It's between 2-8 layers for legatos depending on the the instrument and articulation, and up to 5 layers for shorts, the same as the main Synchron libraries.
