Welcome to Science Made Simple! We break down complex science topics into easy-to-understand concepts that everyone can enjoy. Our videos make science fun and accessible for all, so subscribe and explore the wonders of the universe with us!
Even though it's cooler, it still glows in infrared light, which we can't see. Everything emits some energy, causing that faint glow-not just the surface.
@@vladsonx yes. Temperature and atmosphere are not the only factors for being habitable, and the atmosphere is mostly hydrogen because it's a brown dwarf, and only a mix of oxygen and nitrogen are good to breathe
@@real-reaper I don't know but brown dwarfs have 13-70 Jupiter masses so the gravity would be very strong. Your bones would break in less than a second.
@@interNETS-KING True, black dwarfs don't exist yet, but in billions or trillions of years, white dwarfs will cool down and become them. The universe just isn't old enough yet!
Yes, exactly! There's a "terminator line" on tidally locked planets where temperatures are more moderate between the hot and freezing sides. It's definitely a prime spot to look for signs of life!
It's not AI. The video is edited and written by me. The only thing that's AI is the voice, because I can't be bothered to talk into a microphone, lol. There's a clear difference between this and an AI-generated video. I hope it clears it up.
@@ScienceMadeSimpler Okay the fact you answered means it's real, sorry it's just that every 5th short is in AI voice and generally AI generated. I just heard the AI voice and immediately commented in bad faith, even though the video doesn't look AI, immature reaction on my end and I take back what I said.
I love how they come up with planets and every one is even more freaky than the last. It just keeps getting better and better as long as you don't think about it, just use faith.
Trust me, these planets are as real as it gets! Science keeps finding new and bizarre worlds that seem straight out of science fiction, but they’re all out there in our universe. Sometimes, the truth really is stranger than imagination!
@@igdes1No, kind of like "our technology advances at an unprecedented pace allowing us to discover more and more breakthrough milestones again and again and again that previously seemed impossible. Flat earth denounces actual empirical science. And so does religion. Hope that cleared it up 😊
White dwarf stars , are actually also called "Zombie stars" White dwarfs are essentially "dead" stars, having exhausted their nuclear fuel. White dwarf is a type of Zombie star
