I thought this was a 1 hour shitpost of a game that ill never play so i would watch and now i am well informed if i ever get to play it i will cook fo sho
I play on DuckStation on PC with 4K upscaling and Silent's 16:9 and improved draw distance codes, there's some guides by other people on RU-vid if you'd like to set it up, I mostly followed Mr John Review's guide.
help plz. when i set l2 r2 to brake and gas by mapping them as right stick up and down on duckstation, they act delayed or sometimes they dont work at all. for example when i press l2 to brake, car starts breaking a few seconds later. brake lights blinks a few seconds later and idk why. sometimes they dont work at all
Hi @TeaKanji I am playing the Randomizer mod and I am trying to complete 100% of the game. The problem is that I don't have the Formula GT, so do you see feasible to win the championship with some LMP or Group C car? If so, which one would you recommend? Thank you very much!
Since you're playing the randomiser, I'd probably suggest the Peugeot 905, since its main drawback of really slow gear shifts was fixed, and its really low weight gives it great tyre and fuel efficiency. The Audi R8 is the nicest to drive out of all the LMP's, but the Pesca Judd is a bit easier on its rear tyres, especially on tracks like Sarthe. No matter what you use though, you're going to be battling rigidity wear at the end of the championship and the car will feel very unstable, so I suggest being strategic: try to complete the championship in as few races as possible by manipulating the AI's positions before skipping races (I explain this in my GT3 guide if you need help), refresh the car's rigidity, then go back to the races you skipped individually to get 100% completion.
I'm a pretty inexperienced player and trying to start using your tuning specifications but I'm struggling a lot more with the car spinning out compared to using more stock tuned cars, do you have any advice for preventing this? I find it hard to tell what I did wrong when my car goes haywire and it makes it pretty frustrating to try to improve. right now I'm using the Renault clio sport v6 phase 2 if it helps
The Clio V6 Phase 2 is a weird one because it's really unstable due to its rear-heaviness and lack of rear grip, it needs a very careful driving style. If you're playing on emulator, the first thing I would check is your controller's analog sensitivity, since the default setting (130% I think?) is way too much and you can safely lower it to 100-110% for better control. Generally I would suggest turning TCS to 1 to avoid spin-outs due to wheelspin, but other than that, you can also try lowering the front downforce or adding a ballast to the front of the car.
Im revisiting this cuz im doing something kinda similar, and holy your car has less HP and won,i need more skill cuz im barely gaining any time on these race cars
This video is amazing and so is the guide, I made a copy of it to reference while I play. I just bought GT3 and have never played it before so this is a great way to start. Like having a coach in the game. Any way we can get a narrated version of these videos?
Hey homs, Thank you for this Excellent explanations, but these information that you give, is a little bit confusing. So i will love a tuning for a car. It the MAZDA RX-7 TYPE R (FD, J) please. So can you do it for me?
After using a few other brands of ir’s, I stumbled on York audio and have never looked back. They have changed the game for me, basically I just want to share the love for York Audio. Words can’t describe the feeling of having a great sound live!
You have load balance wrong. More load over an axle relative to the other increases that axle's linear inertia relative to the other, but due to tire load sensitivity effects, the more loaded axle becomes less efficient than the less loaded one, resulting in less grip on the more loaded axle. It's why lighter cars turn better than heavy cars. Longitudinally the linear inertia is the same due to the axis running through both axles, so loading an axle gives it *more* longitudinal grip relative to the other; opposite of lateral.
Man this is awesome!!!!! your guide is so helpfull. You done a great thing.I'm struggling with license S-8 at least a month more or less just to gain bronze,i dont now how anymore.
Hi TeaKanji, this may not be the best video type for asking but could you look into the Lotus Elan? The specdb list mentions that it has some of the worst grip modifiers in the game at 88 F/R and it gets no option for a GT wing, yet the car grips like it's at least two to three tyre compounds up from what you put on it (i.e. comfort tires on an Elan have the same cornering speed limit as sports mediums have on an average car with normal 100/100 grip modifiers.). Just for extra context, this car on racing hard tires managed to contend with JGTC machines and often won by significant margins on tighter tracks like Suzuka east, Hong Kong and Laguna seca. On sports tires, full tuning and with NOS, it managed to win every single race in the Pan Euro championship against SLR's and the sort, while only boasting a measly 210 HP and weighing 581 KG.
That's how the roof cam looks in vanilla GT4, are you playing the randomizer/Online Public Beta version by any chance? I believe there's a cheat code that enables the speedometer in roof cam.
