The pants should be out of the water with just their roots in the gravel under water. You need more gravel but will look and work great when more gravel added
Try creating a tube that goes from surface to bottom of your pond ,preferably clear & hold it on bottom until starlet/sturgeon gets to the food & lift it up for him only ,he will soon get used to eating off bottom again ,this way the koi cannot pinch it🦊 hope this helps , mine I now get eating straight from my hand ,just let it hover over & have pellets in my palm !but i started that way because sturgeon pellets not to good for koi 😇
@@robfoxfoxy22 thank you for your suggestion. I have already tried this method it works well but the sterlet still will not eat the pellets. I think its too used to eating the bloodworm.
@@marcusandcodiesKoiI know that feeling mate this year is been frustrating with parasites 🦠 keep coming back I think 🤔 is the temperature changing to much this year 😢 We will get there mate 🤜🤛
Awesome video, love the pond. I'm looking to get more plants for my pond and you had a great selection there. I'll have to check them out. I just did a load of maintenance on my pond about two months ago and replaced loads while doing it. Keep the pond videos coming 👍 check out my video when you can.
Glad you got it done mate and you wont regret the torture you been through with it , as it will keep your water qualty amazing now 👌🏻 my only critique would be you over thought it and made it bigger and more complicated then it needed to be , positives it looks spot on and your fish will be very happy now 💯👌🏻
You will see a great difference quickly! and if you plant it up they amazing ! I can't say for certain but I think it's my planted gravel bed that's stopped the issues I use to treat a lot for, and now I don't get hardly anything
Uff good you catch the problem early Something similar happened to me when I was doing the rebuild of the pond almost was a disaster I did put more wood 🪵 problem solved but scary 😦
