The diesels aren’t helping!! They’re there for electric power to the cars and some safety systems. Big boy could easily pull double that many cars with the Johnson bar half way and the throttle barely cracked.
Push me pull you isn,t it cool love the team that's why I love trains love the warbonnets paint schemes have got HO scale red/silver and blue yellow warbonnets freight paint schemes like standard cab and newer more modern wide cabs....
At around 2:05, filming that helicopter kinda reminded me of the times when we had our first Professional home VHS Movie Maker Video Camera by Panasonic. I would set off to film specific activity and here & there, I would get sidetracked filming other stuff not pertaining to what I was filming, just because, for the first time ever in my life, I can record anything I see, it was an experience I will never forget. Nowadays pretty much anyone can make a video at any time with their handi-cam cameras or smartphones. I miss those days, that time period between late 1980's - 2010. That's when allot of interesting railroad changes and mergers were occuring. You would catch all sorts of interesting power, consists and trains of all kinds. Railroading is not the same how it used to be. I need to dig out those VHS tapes and put all the best shots together and maybe upload some on RU-vid.
I much preferred union Pacific's slogan we can handle it instead of building America, it looked more awesome to see that in bold letters on there trains
I wish we could have all learned about panning a shot. At least, at some point in our filming experience. I like the content of this video but your panning is way to fast and would be better edited out. Still a thumbs up and keep bringing what you have her to You Tube. Thanks.
Great Video! As a Brit it never ceases to amaze me just how frikkin long your freight trains are! In the UK a 50 car train would be considered long. We usually see in the region of about 35 - 40 cars.
