He CoUlDn'T sEe YoU. Pickup decided to start overtaking on the exit of a turn, he wouldn't have been able to see anyone or anything no matter the speed. Had he waited just a couple more seconds he could have overtaken in the stretch of straightaway and had the visibility to know not to overtake.
Sure but you need to let go of the gas betwen gears, but with QS you can just change gears full throttle and QS safely cuts out power for that split second to engnage gear smoothly.
its a fun skill to use though, actually having to be good at something always beat electronics doing all the work IMO, its just more fun and rewarding.
Hey man, I am looking to get this bike a2 restricted too, Im 18 at the moment, If you dont mind me asking , how did you feel on the bike? It is very torquey?
As far I know, in A2 category this is one of the most torquey-ish bike. Even after derestriction there wasn't much diffrence in torque. Bikes like Duke 390 can't keep up. For me personally it was the best bike to start on.
I would look into getting a Aprilia Shiver 750 or Shiver 900 instead. Has 15nm more torque and unrestricted they have almost 20hp more than a unrestricted MT-07. I've pulled away from multiple MT-07's with my Shiver 750.
If that was your 6th close call on a SINGLE ride it might be the universe telling you its time for a trackday. I've only had a single close call (the front tire slide on me) in like 5 years of riding. Ride safe dude.
I would not call it a close call. This type of situation are frequent here. But yeah, it was dangerous and clearly not nice. But if you came a few seconds before it could have turn really badly
Yeah, when you overtake cars in a turn without any visibility, you can not see the motorcycle coming. This is why you should never overtake in a turn without visibility
when I had my bike for a first season, on the first 15k of the first trip I had to ride the white line because of the car overtaking another one... but growing up on a bicycle it felt OK 😅
Respect to the driver who went off-road to make sure you can pass, and also respect to you for slowing down and letting the car pass instead of raging as most would :)
From my experience is difficult to understand the real sound from a video but I really appreciate the effort, I bought a NC750X and a decat pipe... I'm wondering if it worth to buy a slip-on or just stick the decat in the exhaust slip-on like you. From your video the stock sounds more bass and the decat high pitched...is that right?
Well, as You said it's really hard to catch the real tone to video but in real life the decat made bike lounder and more ''bassy'' but I've expected bigger diffrence. Most noticeable diffrence was when I was ridin behind this bike.
