Hi guys and thanks for the tutorial. I am new to digital and just purchased my first kit from you. 1 question, I have a new canon mega tank and the colour setting only have the brightness and contrast, do I still use the same values. I am in Australia so not sure if our settings are different but I can’t seem to get the print quality right 😩I would appreciate any help or advice you might have. Thanks, Tracy
Thanks for your questions and for your purchase Tracy!! I will send you an email directly to insure you find the right area for these adjustments on your Canon printer.
This was the perfect mini-album for a birthday gift. I love the paper patterns, too. Thank you for sharing. Just a note for those unfamiliar with pull-down waterfalls, the bottom of the last panel is glued to the band so that the waterfall does not come out. Be sure the band is aligned with the bottom of the last panel and not the center of the page.
great video for using gimp. do you have o rknow of any that show you how to create the actual kits yourself? sadly I have a load of kits but they are from serif CAP2 so in .pack format and not usable (I also lost a load in a drive & backup crash) so would be nice eto be able to make my own kits and be great if I can use gimp to do it.
That's fabulous @DutchJoan & thank you for the compliments! Thank you as well for sharing that you made it using A5 and everything worked well. We hope you truly enjoyed creating this and that you'll also share it in our FB Group, Nitwit Collections Neighbourhood.....it's a fantastic place!
Such a cute album with lots more room inside than I initially thought. Thanks for the walk through of all the tuck spots and pockets. I always look forward to seeing what new things Nit Wit Collections has for us because the clip art is lovely. Thank you for the tutorial.
Thanks for your warm compliments on our Mini Album @maryr.5898 These mini albums are always so deceiving for how many journal and photo spots are in them....love that about them! We're glad you found the tutorial helpful and hope that you make one of these yourself!
Hello from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!! I finally had a chance to listen and follow along with you as I learned to resize paper patterns and elements! I had to purchase Word which I am not at all familiar with, but your tutorial was very easy to understand! Thank you so much!! I am new to Nitwit and also new to printing off patterned cardstock. Being able to change the size will come in so handy. I love your accent!! Thank you again!!!
Thanks @karenkesler7892 for your compliments and for taking the time to let us know that you found the video so helpful! We know this will open up so much more in your crafting....enjoy!!!
Thank you for letting us know @justfunkyjunk that you found our video helpful! We trust that this new knowledge will make your creating so much more enjoyable!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. It is very helpful. Hint for you…when using the CROP feature if you look at the right bottom corner just below the width, there is a small arrow. Click on that arrow and a box opens up. You can enter your size information in there and uncheck “lock aspect ratio”. Hope that helps. Love the video.
What a great idea! For those who have never made an album like this, it is a great foundation on which to build. The digital kit couldn’t be more fitting. Well done M.F. For giving us more inspiration! xx
Thanks for your great compliment @FlorenceSeale-ic8vg !! We really thought this would be a great album choice as a family heritage album is a must have!!
Thanks for this video! I just got GIMP and even though i have some experience with photoshop, this is very different in a quite a few ways that i was floundering a bit. This was helpful and i saved it to watch again.
That's great to hear that you found our video helpful with acclimating to GIMP @SunnysEyes . Every program likes to try to differentiate themselves....but not all their changes work in a good way. With a second watch through on our video and you playing a bit (especially with your previous knowledge of PS) you'll be comfortable in no time!
Thanks very much @MaryEllen236! It is such fun to create and so useful as a card front, DIY Christmas decor or Christmas Gift Tag! Hope you'll get this for yourself this Season
I think I'm in love. Thank you for this video, You make easy without being simplistic. Never making it seem like Im a dummy. Will be watching all. Thank you again😊
Thanks for letting us know that you found our video so helpful @katkitty5864 !! I hope that this gives you the confidence to use our digital designs in your crafting.
Thanks very much @jenniferrichards-craftings9341 We loved creating this.....it gave us that instant feeling of Christmas....and all the goodies that are to come!
Thanks for your comment @vergarame0406! The reason we don't do tutorials on these is they are self explanatory! When you purchase you get the original image and the perfectly sized pieces to print and decoupage on. You simply choose how many pieces to print to give you the number of desired layers (we usually print extra and then put them in place before gluing just to see when enough is enough!) Hope you'll take the plunge and buy one & you'll see what we're saying!
Hi @ceeceetracey9839 I understand if you would like string in the buttons and you can do this by adding a simple line in your graphics program! It is super easy to do and if you use your colour selector in your graphics program to choose the color....everything will match perfectly!
