Just finished my first 48 hour challenge. We drew the genre “Super Hero”. I wrote it Friday night. I directed and ran the main cam and cinematography on Saturday for 14 hours. However, I made the crazy awful mistake of starting the editing process at 8am on Sunday when it was due at 6. This was my first time shooting with a crew. We had 15! I normally make my own movies as a one man band. Here’s the result if anyone cares to take a look: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VZ-FN9woZQQ.html
Curious... We just did the 48 in Shanghai (literally wrapped last night lol), and we couldn't have a single brand name anywhere in our film without being disqualified. In Detroit, is it not a thing? Wondering how it worked with the Polaroid and other logos you had. Cheers, and great film. Super creepy
A friend of mine knows Scott and recently told me about these videos. I'm blown away. I am not in the industry, I just know what i like and this was amazing! I watched three and The House Hunters...wow! Can't wait for more great stories.
Oooooh, damn, right up until the end I was convinced this film was about a polyamory relationship. I must admit I am a little bit dissapointed that this wasn't the case because these kind of relationships always fascinate me. Although the warning signs were there: I started to notice something was off when there were only two thootbrushes in the bathroom. Nevertheless the actual story that you aimed to tell is beautiful and powerful, and it is gorgeously shot, especially the march of the three through the cementery. You used sky drones for that part, right? Cheers!
Good job! For the rain scenes, did you use some kind of raining machine or did you actually dare to film all of the shots during the actual rain? Cheers!
@@52scripts It seems so risky to me! Imagine the rain just stops or dramatically changes in intensity just when you are going to do another shot of the same scene! Kudos to your bravery in using the real rain! 👏👏👏
