Great view from the hotel! But to be honest, for the price i was expecting the room to be more.. flashy? And was the mini bar included in the price too?
I was expecting that too 😅 but it’s the only exclusive hotel inside the Iguazú National park in Argentina, which gives you the best views and early access to waterfalls. That was worth it. Minibar was not included, and if monkeys still everything - you pay for it 😂
it depends on the dates, $900 for F1 weekend gets you not so many options 😂 We have tickets, but also have some other plans, not sure. Maybe we’ll come for a day or two. It’s messy and takes lots of walking to get anywhere

Hi, it was Rio Deal Guesthouse, booked with booking .com It was priced great, but I can’t recommend it as it wasn’t very clean 😅 there were lots of similar guesthouses at $20-40 range, so just compare for yourself
Wow, that's a nice 25 dollars hotel, what's it called? And 1000 dollars per night seems too much even for Copacabana Palace? And you went from Supermarket Copacabana directly to Grumari, LOL
Haha, so many suspicious questions 🤣🤣🤣 1) some Rio Deal Guesthouse booked at Booking .com - but can’t recommend it as it wasn’t very clean 😩 2) nope, Copacabana palace has different categories of rooms, and they are priced much higher, especially for weekends like Rock in Rio 😉 3) not Grumari, Barra on a bike. It was fun 🤩
@@CheckerTravel Ok.Thank you so much for responding!!!! So the wild caught salmon was in the sushi station in the lounge restaurant right? No extra cost for the salmon correct? Desert too?
@@gumbogumbo7462 yes! once you are inside - everything was free including premium drinks like champagne. The main restaurant sometimes gets busy as they have a limited number of tables so I’d recommend checking in with them right away :) Enjoy your trip!
Thanks, Kenya. Paris and Rio are very very different and hard to compare, but both have a character. Enjoy your trip and don't plan for too long, just go!
@@CheckerTravel Considering how well you check your rooms, I would trust your judgement. I did notice you didn't pull out the blacklight for your room 🤣
Haha 😆 We had some friends coming to Six Flags and they asked us for an advice. So we decided to test it out and saw some potential 🤣 Hope you found it helpful. Enjoy your trip ❤️
Hi guys! The grounds of the hotel are really pleasing and have great activities. Lots of kids, but the slides look fun! The adults only pool need a slide haha! Pretty large room, love that it has fridge! Simple but it has everything you need. You guys look great and it’s nice to see you guys again!
Hi Ivan, thank you! Always nice to read your comments! ❤️ The hotel was very peaceful and nice. The one we can definitely recommend ;) So many new trips coming up, stay tuned 😉
As a European and American I have to say it depends on where you buy. Buying in Austria, France or Germany will be much more expensive than Bulgaria and the countries in the video. Same as food is more expensive in California than for example Idaho. But I like the idea of the video.
We have visited all of the mentioned countries, and the quality of food is so much better in Europe 😋 (compared to the US). And here we pay more and have to read the ingredients even when labels looks green and organic 😣
Thanks for following along! It largely depends on your budget, but most business hotels are the ones from biggest US hotel chains. We'd rate them as: #1 Hyatt, #2 Marriott, #3 IHG (Intercontinental), #4 Hilton. Hope this helps! All the best with your travel stories ❤
Thank you for mentioning getting a permit, what exactly did you mean by that? Do you need a permit (permission) to take the rental car from tahiti to moorea? Or did you mean the ticket for the rental car on the ferry?
You don’t need a permit now, but they ask for Moorea channel crossing insurance which is 3800 XPF - around $35. Technically, you can deny it. Hertz quote today: “Rental vehicles are authorized to be driven on the island of Moorea. The Maritime Insurance Moorea option covers you for damage suffered to the vehicle on the boat during the channel crossing.” BUT you need to pay around $50 for the car crossing one way + make a special reservation for a time-slot you need or otherwise it might be full. It was cheaper for us to rent another car at Moorea and have more flexibility with the ferry schedule. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip :)
Hey guys!!! Man that’s a big space! It looks hot! Make sure to get plenty of water! Cool experience of the common grounds. Swimming pools are the best on hot days! Fruits look so refreshing. Does phoenix have anything to do? 118!!! What!?!? We are 68 now where we are! I’d be living in pool hahaha! Great video!
I used it only twice over the past 8 years, and was surprised to find the check in the same box 😂 they actually refunded more than I paid because the price for such model increased 😅🤣 lifetime warranty works !
@@CheckerTravel The modern piña colada originated in 1954 at the lobby bar of the Caribe Hilton hotel in the Condado area of San Juan. In 1992 the government of Puerto Rico wanting to settle claims of origin had some research done which indicated a pirate (Cofresí) had a similar basic drink, that’s why it’s a modern version. BARRACHINA didn’t serve the drink until 1963-64 and has lied since then about being the originators of the drink. They have falsely made this claim to attract gullible tourists from the cruise ships that dock nearby. In 2004 the government of PR issued an official proclamation to the Caribe Hilton celebrating the 50th anniversary of the drink. By the way, BARRACHINA serves their version from a slurpee machine (pre-made frozen drink). There are better versions all over old San Juan than theirs.
Hi @Jl SC We did have a great time! And the resort was beautiful. Our favorite is Palms, so nice and private. We absolutely love Arizona, especially Sedona is our #1 spot for stargazing. But we have to be honest, when it’s hot - it’s brutal 🥵 It took us 2 days to acclimatize, very similar to Vegas in the summer 🔥
We are going to the South Pacific in March 2026 on the small high end cruise ship Paul Gauguin . Our cruise is 14 days leaving Tahiti and going to Bora Bora (2 days) Moorea , Huahine, the Marquesas Islands, etc. it's a great way to see the islands. All our food is included and you don't get ripped off. I am paying $22,000 for two people for two weeks. We booked a balcony cabin but you can get a cheaper room on the ship, such as a porthole. The only thing you have to pay extra for would be excursions on the islands or go explore the islands yourself. Its a good deal!
It really depends on dates and room type, but both are nice luxury options in top price tier. Personally, not big fans of Rancho Valencia. A bit dated/old school and too far from the ocean.
yes, the pool overlooking the mountains looks amazing! But we prefer swimming in the ocean right outside the bungalows 😄 so much fun! (waiting for baby sharks 🦈😅)
