Extra match scan for prefab abutment is a perfect update. However, align mesh for several abutment like full arch cases might be difficult and not accurate. I suggest add extra aligning scan on model cast without gingiva to help align meshes more accurate for cases we have model cast and PMMA.
Shining 3Ds functions and tutorials are awesome. Very happy with my purchase. Using Aoralscan 3 for more than a year now. Accuracy is impressive and after the latest update everything is even better. Thank you Shining 3D!
I have a question regarding accuware for resin printing via network each time I click on it it gives me this message "please insert dongle and restart application" knowing that I am a beginner I don't really understand what it is about 😢

There needs to be a better way to automatically add a base. invisalign itero has this when an export is done. Also, the cleaning tool needs to be smarter, artifacts not recognized a lot of times and no way to fill holes. There needs to be a magnifying glass on the model that would show the actual image of that area and not the wrapped image, this way no distortion in key areas that may have caries can be explored better.
I can't find a way to show both non exo and exo tx plans. Also please improve the fine tuning alignment function. Maybe a way to prevent anterior teeth from going forward or a way to retract anteriors after IPR or extraction, so to let the auto software know what direction to move the teeth when there is space. this way we can show how the lips will retract or how lips would go forward if we were able to keep molars where they were and procline anterior teeth.
This feature should be defaulted on. Also better graphics for what type of face scan is being done. smile scan, closed lip or retractor smile. Let your customers know that there is a huge speed increase with your software operation with an i9-14900k with rtx4090 vs anything less.
everyone can read the text in front of the camera, when you watch such an emotionless video, it seems as if the one who reads the video does not understand anything about scanning, but is just a doll that must read the text for the video

A very good scanner, better than itero. I own 3 of these. The only thing holding back this scanner is the software. please You need to fix the user interface for editing. It should be more intuitive. Also, your hardware is good, but the software sometimes causes double row of teeth or two different planes of teeth or the edges of the incisal edge are bumpy. The way I get around this is when scanning, always scan continuously, and if I pause, I must restart exactly in the same spot or the software will create these issues. The CUDA cores should be good at comparing the new scan with the old, and detecting changes and overwriting the old with the new. also the joystick mode doesn't work well.
The hardware is great. The color photo quality is the BEST on the market. The software needs work. With the following software improvements, your scanner will be best in class. The button, double tap menu needs improvement. The 3D model mover with the wand does not work. There needs to be better options on that screen that are actually usable. There needs to be no need to use the mouse or keyboard to prevent contamination. Integrate/map with USB foot pedals. Make sure the scanner does not scan DOUBLE JAWS or double rows of teeth. Loading the program just to log in takes about 45 seconds on a super-fast computer. The Scanning window screen cannot be moved easily to another monitor in a multi-monitor setup. No way to easily download working files to another computer for ortho simulation. Incisal edge scanning needs work. (even the itero scanner cannot to incisal edges very well) When scan layers get close to 500 scans, the software WILL crash the computer.
I have the aoral scan 3 wired. It is a good unit. The hardware is good. There needs to be more options for only the wand selections so no keyboard or mouse is needed during scanning so no saliva contamination. maybe a 3 button click option for another menu or an extended menu with the double click that would have more options. what about foot pedal inputs? There are USB foot pedals that you can buy, anyway to map the foot pedal to the different keyboard commands or to set the options in settings? Also when scanning upper arch, the graphic cartoon photo should show the upper arch in a different orientation than the lower arch.
I have three wired aoral scan 3 units. They are great. Hardware is great. Software needs a lot of work to be the leader of the market. The AI function does not work well for incisal edges of anterior teeth. This is the most difficult part for the scanner to scan. Also the AI needs to prevent creating double arches in the scan if you jump around when scanning as it stitches a tooth ontop of the same tooth with a 2mm difference. The way around this is to pause the scan if you need to go to the other side, then restart scanning, if not even an entire second arch will appear that sprouts from the real arch. the wand selected UI should be customizable and there needs to be a 3d view of the model using the wand as the joystick controller to move the model. There needs to be no reason to use the mouse during scanning. Also there should be a DUAL bite mode if patients have two different bites. thanks for the help! I look forward to your new improvements.
I have three Aoral Scan 3 wired units. They are great, but your software needs a lot of UI improvements. These Scanning setting options MUST be selectable During the scanning, and the system can remember the settings selected from the previous scan.
I have wired aoralScan 3. I do love it, but needs software improvements. Scanning one side of the arch, then another without pausing causes the scanner to create double rows of teeth. This has happened a few times. I have to scan, then pause, then scan again or else the system will create a double row of molars or even a second arch attached to the main arch. Once I use the tricks to avoid the flaws of the scanner, then I can scan. But it is annoying because I have to rescan the entire arch. Also the double button click UI needs to be better. The functions do not work well. there should be a way to map the wand's selection functions to user preferences. The best function would be to 3d move the model, and then one to rescan the arch and another to rescan one area to overwrite the previous data in that area if there was an artifact. This wand menu needs to be better so no need to click on the mouse.
Dear team Hi Could you please let me know if this Scanner software works with Just NVIDIA GPU? if my system GPU was intel how should I assign it to the software?
