Hello sir,,, my son 2.5 years old today he admit in hospital, because of mesentric lymph nodes size 17×8 mm ,,,plz tell me sir there is any serious condition or not,
Sir my daughter is 8 years old and she has very mild pain around the periumbrical region since 1 month, she can not make any complain about her pain, she is normal and active, she is jumping dancing, she is doing everything, even she always ask me give her favourite foods though she has a pain. When i ask her about pain, she says yes she has pain, otherwise she doesn't complain. I take her to local doctor and in hospital too, hospital doctors suggest for USG, and USG report tells that she has msentric lymphadenopathy, largest is 0.54cm × 0.43cm. Doctor gave her cefixime medicine for 7 days but the pain is not gone, after 7 days i consult doctor again and complained him that my daughter has pain from one month, he said that may be the pain will not gone for 1 year, USG report is clear, and he suggest vegetables, fruits and water to eat and drink and to avoid junk and fast food, and to go laterine every day as my daughter has constipation and a pain killer if needed. My daughter has no any other symptoms except the pain, her weight is gradually increasing. This is my problem sir, my question to you sir, when should I do at present and when the pain will gone permanently.?

I suggest that you consult your paediatrician or paediatric surgeon and get your child examined. The size of the mesenteric nodes are not that large and they should settle down with time. However, you need to make sure that your child is not harbouring any intestinal infection as they may cause the nodes to enlarge. Other common cause of abdominal pain in children is constipation also which needs to be ruled out.
Sir my daughter age is 9yrs she suffered from stomach pain doctor suggested ultrasound in report jejunal thickening with non specific mesentric adenitis came mesentric adenitis 15×8mm sir is there any problem sir
Sir my daughter ultrasound report shows non specific mesentric lymph nodes 15×8 mm she is not having any vomitings but sometimes she is telling stomach pain
The size of the nodes are not too large to be worried about. However, you should contact your local pediatrician or pediatric surgeon and follow his / her advise / medications. You may repeat the ultrasound scan after 4-6 weeks and see the progress.

It is not advisable to administer or prescribe medications without examining the child / contacting a qualified pediatrician or pediatric surgeon

Sir I had laparoscopic Varicocele surgery done 20 days ago but I still have pain in my testis and the veins are still feeling Swelling. In how many days will it be cured?
If your child is well and having no other symptoms, you may just wait and repeat the ultrasound scan after 1 month. You may in the interim consult your local pediatrician or pediatric surgeon and follow his / her advise once he / she examines the child.
There can be many reasons for the same which may or may not be related to the surgery of appendicitis. You need to get your child checked by a pediatric surgeon and get investigations done if necessary and take appropriate treatment as advised.

Looks like normal sized nodes. Should not be a major cause for concern. It is suggested that you follow your pediatrician / pediatric surgeon's advise regarding medications.

Just an ultrasound report showing mesenteric lymph nodes of x,y or z size is of no importance. The child needs to be examined clinically and the clinical symptoms and findings need to be coordinated with the investigative work up and accordingly treatment needs to be commenced (if required).

I think you should consult your local pediatrician or pediatric surgeon, get yourself examined and evaluated and follow his / her advise. Mesenteric nodes are routinely seen on ultrasound and one should not always consider them to be abnormal if there are no clinical symptoms.
