I'm from Chicago originally. Moved to the NE Atlanta suburbs in May 2021. Got serious about whitewater kayaking in June 2023. This will mainly document runs I go on and is a tool for my personal progression in the sport, with some occasional hijinks
For double pumps you should be trying to hold your edge at thirty degrees while slamming down and then transitioning to 60 or more degrees as the loaded end rejects and bounces out of the water. You have too much edge on the intiation, especially when trying to double pump on to the stern. As for the bow, you need to put pressure on your feet and make sure you're fully committing. Your stern squirts look good, especially in the xxx. For the playboat I would reccommend loading your bow like during the lean clean to help with the stern squirts. Awesome to see you progress, keep at it!
Congratulations on your PFD and the step forwards with this course! Love how he sets the tone in the beginning making sure that you all know, whatever happens it doesn’t affect him. It’s challenge by choice and as instructors we want to create an environment where you can fail, and we can both laugh about it!
Love it! that is something I would do, the other day I did the splits getting out of Kayak one foot on land other in the boat, it went one way and I fell over backwards into water.Nobody around to laugh but me! .. Was dry until that happened, hilarious. Its what builds good memories. thanks for the share. Peace
YESSSSSIR! My goodness man, excellent edit and so proud of you! Keep working on your mechanics as well as your approach to the lines and it will only get better from here 🫵🏽🔥 can’t wait to paddle this section with you man and CONGRATULATIONS!
You must have a lot of whitewater friends as supporting as you are 🙃 If you'd like to buy my equipment for 4k, you're more than welcome. Thanks for watching and trolling!
