It is in fact impossible for me to know if some of my videos constitute copyright infringement because all the material I uploaded is the result of Cds and Tv recording and passion for the music.
I uploaded the video just to promote the music I love. I don't want problems with anybody and I never intended to break the copyright law.
I'm absolutely in love with the clarinet solo from 19:55 - 20:50. It's perfect - mysterious and enchanting, and the theme that follows it has quickly become an ear-worm for me.
Would you mind telling us who painted the thumbnail picture? It would also be interesting to learn what relevance the picture has to this concerto. Thanks.
Lovely music; thanks for uploading it. I knew Sweden had at least one excellent baroque composer, so I searched on purpose and eventually discovered Johan Helmich Roman. To mark the 330th anniversary of his birth, I am now even more determined to introduce him, at least to the audience in Slovenia, where I come from. My piano student is already playing his second harpsichord sonata (now for piano) in D major. What a delight for both of us!
The composer was 26 when he finished this, The concept reminds me of the towering conclusion of Langgaard's massive first symphony (1911) and he was a teenager when he finished it.
44:59 and on seems a clear musical reference to the (then) Dutch anthem, "Wien Neerlands Bloed". I can't imagine that's a coincidence, especially from a Ghentian composer.

En el minuto 3'50'' incluye una melodía que es una muñeira y sanjuanera soriana, seguramente Corradini la tomó de una tonadilla popular de carnaval, al tratarse de un baile de máscaras.
Grieg, Nielsen, Sibelius, Stenhammar, Atterberg, and more. Scandinavian composers have earned a seat at the Grown Up Table, along with the Germans, Russians, Italians, French and English.
Interesting perspective to Classical music in a romantic era! This I always wondered how WA Mozart would’ve transitioned if he were to live longer to the day? With his son, it is more clear, somewhat.
