Modern day conservatism and modern day liberalism is so cancer. There’s nothing wrong if you are a Muslim that holds conservative or liberal beliefs in the traditional sense. And if you align yourself with republican or democrat parties in this modern age. You are truly brainwashed.

Standing at my desk fixed my ulnar nerve problem. Crazy. I'm very, very, active and sitting at a desk was the last thing I expected was causing my problem. Yet even just one day standing at my desk probably healed it 25%.

Tips and information for recovering from Hernia Surgery if you live alone. These are things you should do before you leave the house to go for surgery. Cook and prepare a week’s worth of meals and snacks before surgery. Meals that will be easy to pass through your digestive system. Things like vegetable soup with beans, carrots, celery…, oatmeal with prunes, egg salad, chicken salad, steamed carrots and broccoli, asparagus… low fat and low grease type foods. Snacks like apples, oranges, *ripe* bananas, all kinds of fruits are good to keep things moving. Start taking a stool softener one or two days before surgery and then continue taking it when you get home. Place something next to your toilet you can grab onto to help you get on and off the toilet. Do the same for your bed and other areas you may sit. Have toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss out and ready to use. A glass of water to rinse your mouth out. You’re not going to be able to bend over to _cup water_ in your hands. If you don’t already have a _grabber,_ get one. Do not take your phone to surgery. Leave your phone at home on your nightstand and fully charged. Have on hand at least two ice packs that you can wrap a clean cloth around to put over the location of surgery and rotate them from the freezer as needed. This will keep the swelling down. Read your after surgery instructions and follow them. Listen to your doctor and follow his/her orders. Keep the wound area clean and clean it with an antibacterial soap every morning and again before you go to bed at night. The next day get up and walk but be careful. I walked outside around the cul-de-sac four times a day starting the day right after surgery. Twice in the morning, once in the afternoon, and then again in the evening. Have clean sheets on your bed. Wear loose fitting clothes. Have plenty of water and Gatorade on hand and before you leave for surgery place a few bottles on your nightstand, computer desk, kitchen table, kitchen counters, your television chair, and in your refrigerator. Drink plenty of liquids. At least four bottles per day. Take pain medication as needed but don’t over do it. All pain medications can cause constipation. A thermometer on your nightstand. A list of movies you may want to watch. I not going to sugarcoat this for you. The first three days are going to be tough so be ready. It gets easier on your fourth day. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I am 7 weeks post op from left side inguinal hernia, first 2 days after I was fine I think because the hospital meds hadn't wore off, then the pain when moving in certain positions was noticeable this lasted for about 2 weeks, after that it was getting better each day but I did have stomach ache low down in my gut and the usual constipation was there, I would say that if you do have this done and you go for a number 2 roll a small towel up and just support the incision for a few weeks. 7 weeks on and the only effects I still have is a bit of stomach bloating, if anyone else has had this done can you tell me if you have had this problem, if you have an inguinal hernia and you are thinking should or shouldn't I, I would say deffo get it done because apart from a little bloating of my stomach I haven't felt this good for a long time so gor for the op it's worth it.

I'm on day one of inguinal open mesh surgery, I woke up after surgery sore, pain was mild but they put a tube in your throat while sleep, so you feel like you gotta cough once awake, advice avoid coughing, that was painful like 6 out of 10. I read so much variety of reports I was afraid this would feel like hell, so far it mild, it's like a sore muscle. Just be careful getting up and down. I am taking the pain meds and plan to go for 3-4 days. So far surprised how mild pain is. Will update some other time on how I'm feeling Day 2: today was more painful to get up but not crazy bad, laying down felt the same, just go slow with getting up and down, and use an ice pack.

At the start SMNR, costs are rising not falling, thats not very promising. Lazards gives costs of solar with batteries, today cost effective on par with NG. Although LNG is more expensive so if thats used cost is up, the Russian invasion of Ukraine is not the only spike in NG costs. Solar, storage and other tech is dropping fast in costs, gas not so much. Much of the investment thats been made in LNG today is going into stranded assists. There was also mentioned industrial processes that need fossil fuels, this over looks techniques that have been developed to use electricity. Bitcoin mining will follow the cheapest electricity and thats solar. This talk is somewhat cherry picking facts to support a select industry. Don't think short term moves are going to play out to long term. LNG has helped in the short term supplying energy especially in Europe as Russian sources are cut but thats temporary.
@PatrickSchwerdtfeger
@PatrickSchwerdtfeger 7 месяцев назад
Excellent comment. Thank you. I agree with most of this. Nevertheless, I do still believe NG (and LNG) will fill the gaps until solar, wind, and storage (hopefully, nuclear too) scale sufficiently to supply global demand.

Had an open repair with no mesh on 12/21/23. Able to manage with Tylenol and ibuprofen. Pain feels like a very sore muscle the day after a hard workout, but no burning pain. I took Senokot for a stool softener and that helped keep me regular during the initial healing. Be sure to do as much walking as you can tolerate as that also helps with muscle healing. For those waiting for surgery, be sure to strengthen the core and lose weight, both of which were beneficial to me. Thank you for the video it helped me with that to expect in this surgery and recovery process.

Also want to add: be sure to consistently ice the incision are the first week and to wear a jock strap the first 2 weeks. The jock strap prevents scrotum swelling and discomfort. Follow your surgeons advice, but this worked for me and was suggested by my surgeon. When I woke up in recovery, I had a jockstrap on and an ice pack was already on the Incision.

I spent a solid 15 years full of hatred towards people who deserved it and life was good. Then I found religion for a few years and forgave those people and even let them convince me that I was the bad guy for holding a grudge… I had revived my relationships with them at my own expense, it felt like I had become complicit with their evil. I became incredibly depressed and sad and started to accept the world as a terrible place full of terrible people that I am supposed to love... my identity was demolished and people walked over me even more. I had become a victim once again. Fuuuuck. The truth is that sometimes hatred is justified and a good person should never back down when confronting evil. The good shepherd defends against wolves, he does not embrace them. Thankfully I woke up and hate is once again my fuel and I finally feel good again. Fuck them. My advice is to stay true to yourself and if you have to openly fight evil people do it proudly, your older self will thank you. Never surrender.

Thanks for the info. I had the surgery, only they found another hernia present too, a Pataloon hernia. I think that may explain the larger scar which, after 1 1/2 weeks post-op, is about two inches long. Yes, much more discomfort than I expected but as long as I lie in bed, no pain at all. I also had mine done at K.P. and after four days of no poop, was very relieved after it happened. I was glad to feel that the muscles for pooping did not involve the immediate muscles around my hernia so everything passed okay, with caution and time. And yes, I did take the stool softeners they sent me home with. I didn't shower for four days after but there was no problem. No sitting in a tub for a month but, I'll live. This sounds like a "standard" procedure and I think the key thing is to take it easy. For me, no lifting more than ten pounds for a month. Oh, I have an unusually big cat and when he comes to "snuggle" he steps one foot at a time. He concentrated his 20 pounds right on my scar. Can cats fly? Yes, they can.
