@@Rubiconromp ahh I see, what year of jeep did you put it on? I heard anything below 05 has problems with Sprintex and requires proper tunes, while 05-06 are perfect. Just trying to get as much feedback as I can before pulling a trigger on either Turbo or SC.
@@Rubiconromp okay, thats good to know... thanks for the info. I guess I got more decision making :P my engine has 66k on it, so not really looking at building it or swapping it into stroker, thought maybe Sprintex SC would hold me off till I needed a replacement engine. :)
I don't know why toyota fanboys get so offended when a jeep outperforms their truck, jeeps win 100% of the time for pure off road capabilities, and toyotas win for reliability and comfort while off roading and also on road
That’s awesome but bad… The owner and I are very disappointed with performance vs money We are going to get it retuned to see if that helps with lag doesn’t seem to have boost left when going threw the gears Also recommend getting the small pulley for extra boost
I have the same setup and harness,i saw in video when rolling highway road you have high coolant temp,is that a problem for you? Also do you have A/C?Ihave the same problems
Yes I have ac can’t run ac much because it will start getting hot I plan to get rid of eBay fans and get some good brand fan that should solve the issues
@@Rubiconromp hahaha i cant run ac either, especially on hot days,i know Some guys which removed their ac condencer and saw much different but i dont want to remove it,so i oredred camaro ss fan!
@@Rubiconromp i have teraflex engine moutns and gas pedal bracket, hotwire suto harness with ceuise control, superior radiators radiator from ebay, spal 16” brushed fan (2280cfm) the stronger but its not enough
I'm going to paint my 280S now, but only have 4 bottles. I'm going for flat boring silver -white mixed, anyway, finally an 'original' design, my favorite color combination, mid 70's !!! Getting sick of all those , gunmetal and candy color, chameleon mixes, few of them are nice , but that's a reason for me to put Raptor on a classic Benz, so when it get scratched , who cares , they'll probably be more affected then the paint , and if they pass the Raptor scratch test, they have to deal with a solid steel 6 cylinder engine , LMAO Let me watch your video now ...
I’ve used this on my 06 is350. I have been driving my car daily in 100 degree weather without issues (yet). I removed the thermostat before using it to avoid any problems.
In this video the 4 runner was stock no lift and factory size tires This model did come with a factory rear locker Also the 4Runner is no locked in the front with 3 inch lift and 33s in a few weeks I will be posting a hard core wheeling video!
@@Rubiconromp i am planning on getting one, and do some light offroading , nothing tough like rock crawiling etc, just “normal” stuff and going to the beach. any model should work right?, with the center or rear locker, what you guys did in the video is to much for my plans haha, just wanna do some overlanding with my kids
@fernandoban5050 yes center lock and a winch you will be fine even just 4wd and a winch! I push mine this new video will be mind blowing how my brother pathfinder followed us
that throttle body spacer ain't going to help any but lose some power, spacers only benefit vehicles with carburetors to help atomize the fuel and air better but that super charger is awesome
I’d love to know what your radiator setup looks like! I’ve been desperately scouring the internet for this but can find anything that looks trustworthy or legit.
No drugs or alcohol. Money maybe most of the time we use 3 time rule but in this case no one was about to make it so it was either going up the hill or getting dragged back home 🤷🏼♂️
Might go pick up a bumper for mine tomorrow. Being my pulled out in front of someone she thought was turning. So now bumper, driver side fender, side marker light are done. Love that paint job on your 4Runner by the way!
