Nice, but government needs to compel Chinese to produce some of these items to be produced in Zambia. Failure to do so will result onus continue to be consumers of Chinese products forever & with more of the money going to China. The Chinese are in all other African countries but why is it that it’s only in Zambia where we’re having China malls? What have they seen in Zambia, which is not in other African countries?

I hope the new government administration can come in & help redesign this area especially with better road designs & not allow the people to build walls close to the roads, which needs drainages & footpaths. What our city councils fail to realise is that the council is supposed to own nature strips between the house fence boundary & the road. The nature strips is where the council builds footpaths, drainages & underground phone cables. We maintain the nature strips but the council owns the nature strips
