I see the hatred from the Hinny and Romione fandoms about Harmione. They always throw out all these reasons why Harmione won't work. Let's pretend for just one second that Harry and Harmione never once got romantic, never ever got romantic in that sense. They still would choose each other over anyone else. They both proved this time and time again. No matter how bad things got, it was always each other they leaned on. Their bond went way beyond a relationship. Neither would let a romance with others, interfere with what they had and whoever they were with, would have to deal with the fact that they were a package deal. That right there is why Ron wouldn't last. Knowing Hermione's platonic bond with Harry meant more to her than their romance, would be more than he could handle. I think Ginny could handle it, in truth. But not Ron.
