I first remember this song from listening to Judy Collins do it a million years ago. Judy had a beautiful voice but whoever gave her the lyrics was a fool. Still, Liverpool Lullaby has rattled around in my head for half a century. Cilla was a genius of a singer. Stan Kelly, who wrote the lyrics, should be remembered though. Memorable song. Thanks, Stan and Cilla.
