I've lost my toes in a forklift accident. Sometimes, it feels like someone is twisting my toes off with a pair of pliers. I've learned to just tell myself it's not real and touch my nubs to reset my brain into realizing that that part of my body no longer exists. It's been about 8 months since the amputation, and this seems to work for me.

Standing on two flesh legs is uncomfortable I can’t imagine how that must be with a prosthetic and any pain you might have in your leg just normally

I recommend already getting into fusion 360 if you want to design your own legs

You can use an app on your phone to take a 3d scan of your existing prosthetic legs if you wanna use them as your "base" to add things onto.
