As an enthusiast of anything old or mechanical I am forever tinkering around the shop. Fixing broken toys, trying to figure out why the kettle stopped working, refinishing something to give it a second life, or building a project from scratch.
I hope this channel will inspire people to tackle projects of their own; don’t throw that old item away, make it better and keep enjoying it. Save money and build confidence and pride by doing a project yourself. I don’t always know what I’m doing but I do it anyway and I have fun!

I gotta say, a belt sander sanding a piece of wood being turned in a drill press Chuck was one of the more enjoyable “hey y’all, watch ‘is“ moments I’ve had in a while!
Sadly, people often buy based on price, and sawdust and glue is a very cheap way to get something that looks like plywood at a fraction of the cost. On the bright side, it can be fixed with more glue and sawdust!
Hello. my question is: We reset this little machine from the settings section on the screen. But now we can't open it again. The red light does not come on even when the charging cable is plugged in. How should we solve this? Thanks😊
I used one that was more of a sand mix (I believe there were small stones in it) rather than the larger stone mix you might use for fence posts. I don't recall exactly which it was.
A lot of building stores like Home Depot cut material down for you so they have saws in the back of the lumber section where you could get some free sawdust.

Alternatively, if there's a high school with a shop class near you, or any construction sites, there would be saws with sawdust, so you could likely ask someone for some. Good luck!
Thank you. My daughter's shutter button is loose. When you flip it upside down it pops up. Gonna try to fix it when I get home. I appreciate the video!
Good video, but for those cracks along the edge, I'd actually drill a hole and fill with glue and Sawdust (or cotton) instead of applying glue with a pin or nail to the surface of the crack as shown. It didn't look like the glue and Sawdust penetrated enough with the pin.
I realize this was a long time ago for you and it may not even still exist but do you happen to remember that paint color? Great work by the way! I've always wanted to know how to do this! Thank you!
The one I used on the lamp was Rust-oleum Painters Touch, Gloss Real Orange. I think got it at Home Depot if I remember correctly. I also have a can of Gloss Orange, it looks the same as Real Orange...not sure if they just renamed it or if it's actually a different colour, but they look the same.
One of my kids didn't learn to ride until she was 8, every learns at a different pace! I don't see why it wouldn't work on a larger frame, the mechanical bits are all the same.
Goddammit.. Don't use sandpaper, use rubbing alcohol 90% No need to bend the pins, use a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol to clean of the contacts, then boil the 72 pin connector for like 10-15 minutes. Let it airdry, you could brush it with rubbing alcohol again. Then fit it back when it's completely dry, ideally after letting it airdry for a day or 2. Then it works, atleast, that's how i fixed my Nes back in 2013, still works till this day. And OH! Don't forget to clean all your games with a Q-tip and the same rubbing alcohol, if the game is dirty it won't work.
you forgot about the pins that are "above" the ones you bent with a small screwdriver. The cartridge has tracks on two sides and you only dealt with those on one side. I do not recommend.
Watched 3 videos in a row feeling like I didn't have enough information to fix my problem. Stopped after yours as I had everything I needed. You're a great teacher. Thank you!
Man of only youtube had dislikes so I could tell that there where major issues with the video beforw thinking I should follow its advice... Thanks youtube.
Great job! I don’t have a lathe either and use my drill press as well. I do mount a large bolt into the drill press vice to use as a tool rest. Works well but has limitations. Very well done!!!
